Superchef — Restaurant in Gateshead

Absolutely awful. The taste was disgusting. The quality was extremely poor. Never ever again. I only went here because my usual one just down the road was constantly engaged and I had been trying for 20 minutes so I thought I would give it a try and I really wish I did not. The food quality is awful the chips are run of the mill frozen chips not them nice crispy chunky chips you get from the Chinese usually and the order was over £20 and did not even get any free prawn crackers....

We order every week never had any problems food is always hot and delicious, until last week when we received the wrong order but not to worry these things happen and ate it anyway. When we ordered this week they remembered us even tho we didn't complain and said your order will be at a reduced price which was very much appreciated but when it was delivered there was no charge . So I would like to say thank you super chef and keep up...

Not bad food and you can see them cooking in shop, but unfortunately the chips are always a letdown, especially the salt and pepper chips. The decor is a little past it's time, however it is in good keeping from a food and hygiene point of view. I do feel they could up their game on quality when comparing to other Chinese takeaways within a reasonable radius of there location however overall not a bad...
