BABURCHI INDIAN CUISINE — Restaurant in Gloucester

We had a very bad experience with the food and services. First of all it is very hard to find Authentic Indian test with their food items. We ordered few items from the menu for collection and after reaching home noticed an item is missing.

The name of the food with the test is highly incompatible. After testing "Vegetable Bahar Paneer" practically we have spited out everything from our mouth. I wish I could have a way to show you a way to experience the test.

When I call to the restaurant and the reply from the manager was more unpleasant. The manager said "we have sold 8/9 portions today and there was no issue with that".

Practically the "Vegetable Bahar Paneer" was rotten.

I wish GOOGLE will add Negative stars for rating this type of food and services in future.

Food was average, madras overpowered by lemon. My issue with this place is the smell. As soon as I walked in I could smell sewage and the smell remaine throughout the whole time I was there. Couldnt smell any food cooking? You only have to be on the same street as an indian restaurant and you can smell it, so that was suspicious. My Favourite part was where I looked down to see a slug on my knee while I was eating 🙃 its little snail trail was very short so it most likely was underneath the table and dropped on to me... Fantastic Food, the naan breads are top notch. Good prices too. I only gave 3 stars for service because the young woman serving failed to say the plates were very hot, so myself and another member of our group got scolded. Atmosphere is fine, there seemed to be an odd smell every now an then which reminded me of drains. Overall for the price and food quality I'd recommend it. It's also BYOB (Bring your own Booze) and there are shops nearby to get some. Parking is a bit hit and miss, so if you can't park out of the front, you may have to find parking in the business estate. That'll only take you 2 minutes or so to walk...
