Kaspa's Gloucester — Restaurant in Gloucester

We arrived at the branch at 10.25pm. We were told straight away by Mr Subhaan that they were doing only take-away orders now that it was 10:30. A whole 5 minutes before! The place was empty except for 3 customers in one booth. We requested to eat in as we only wanted one waffle between the 2 of us. Subhaan spent 10 minutes arguing with us and refusing to give us his name in order to lodge an official complaint. He claimed he was told by the manager to close eat-in half an hour before closing time. Upon telling him that an official complaint would be made he switched his tone and said he would accomodate us. He was happy to lose customers over his ego it seemed. We could also tell that other members of staff felt intimidated by him and had to support his side. We assured her that she needn't feel intimidated by other members of staff. Upon serving us the waffle at table 14, she came and apologised on both of their behalf and she mentioned she did not support his view but felt the need to at the time due to his intimidating nature and fear of losing her job. This experience has really put us off from the place. I visited gloucester store tonight and was left very unsatisfied. I was waiting over an hour for my order and when it eventually came it was only one thing of my order so waited a further 10 mins for the rest and never came so went and asked to be told i hadnt ordered anything then when i had said my order the lady then remembered but yet still had to get the receipt up. I ended up eating my dessert on my own as my partners had came out way before mine and my sons even tho it was all ordered together. My partner ordered a choc fudge cake and asked for it cold it came out warm, i ordered 2 milkshakes 1 vanilla and 1 feroreo rocher one my fororo rocher one came but 10 mins later nothing so once again i had to go and question where my vannila milkshake was to be told once again you havent ordered nothing then was told you only ordered 1 vannila milkshake when i had a forero rocher one sat in front of me🤔. The service its self was disgusting from slammimg down the food,plates and cutlery!!. Nice atmosphere, a bit cold - waiting times very long. Good food though. I've had better times at Kaspas. Might go again, knowing its potential - but if this continues I might not. Overall a good dessert place I'd recommend.

I went again, and honestly I was very disappointed. The till stopped working, which initially didn't seem to be a problem as they reassured us that things would be up and running within 5 minutes, 20 minutes later we were told to wait at the end of an enormous queue. 50 minutes passed and we were told they didn't accept card payments anymore. Brilliant... not. I doubt I'm going to go again to this Kaspas, I wholeheartedly feel they could have got this situation under much more control if they had better organisation.
