For locals this is a legend of a pub steeped in history it's been around almost as long as Gravesend. Cleverly balancing a traditional ale and food pub during the day and a busy bustling bar with DJs at night open till 3am Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I am really pleased to say if you feel like splashing some cash they offer some of the more high class spirits along side the usual something not seen so much at other pubs in this area. TOP TIP: Watch out for the new £2 Tuesdays. just £2 for a wide range of drinks and food. They seem to have become a regular weekly event and it becomes shockingly busy Tuesday afternoons. Very impressed..we were made to feel so welcome right from the start.we only went in to have a quick drink and to check it out.well we ended up staying a lot longer and enjoyed every minute.all the regulations were put in place.WE felt so safe .everything so clean and so professional .had a great laugh with other customers even with correct social distancing. Had a brilliant night here last night (Sat 6th Nov) with a group of friends. Great DJ blasting out some tunes! Friendly staff and even the security were a laugh.
