If i could give more than 5 Stars I totally would. Being a Gravesender I've seen the Panic Room grow and evolve over the years from their original premises near the Clock Tower to the current location at the back of the St George's Centre and I don't doubt that the empire will continue to expand.
I just wish I'd visited sooner!
I feel like i already know that Google'S word counter is gonna stop me at some point but I'll just keep on about how awesome the experiences are until then....đ€Ș
I can't praise the whole team and set up highly enough.
Stepping in to the Panic Room main entrance you'll be greeted by a friendly team member who will check you in and run you through a couple of House Rules before getting down to the Experience.
All very organised and safe but very relaxed at the same time.
So far I've visited twice and will be coming along as regularly as possible now.
So much fun, I want to share every detail but at the same time it should be a total surprise each time like it was for me.
The team and games masters are just great and all so friendly, Kat was Games Master for our Hell House experience and Amelia for Enigma, Cameron looked after us at the bar and the whole team are just FAB in every way.
The rooms so brilliantly thought out.
With decent facilities, super awesome team, digital copies of team photos thrown in, a gift shop, bar area, Good Music, even an Axe Throwing area, all very safe and well organised too of course, i hope the Panic Room Gravesend goes on to Conquer the World.
Literally something for everyone with 18 different rooms at any given time and so many other things to while the day away, especially if you're willing to walk round into the centre to visit the other branches with the arcade games and mini golf, I wish I'd realised how cool the place is years ago as I feel like I've missed a lot of fun but am so making up for it now haha
Thanks guys for making each time amazing, see y'all again soon... If we make it back from the Upside Down that is đ
Merry...
Read moreOf course, here is a review for a brilliant escape room experience completing Riddled with friends and amazing staff. From the moment we arrived, our escape room experience was absolutely fantastic. This wasn't just a game; it was a fully immersive adventure thanks to the incredible attention to detail in the room's design and, most importantly, the brilliant staff. The theme was captivating, and the puzzles were incredibly cleverâchallenging enough to make you think but not so obscure that they became frustrating. Every clue we solved led us to the next exciting step, and the room was filled with brilliant surprises that kept us on our toes. The props and set pieces were top-notch and truly made us feel like we were part of the story. What truly set this experience apart was the staff. Our game master was phenomenal. They were enthusiastic, perfectly in character, and their hints were timed flawlesslyâjust when we needed a nudge, they were there with a subtle clue that never gave too much away. It felt like they were genuinely invested in our success and enjoyment. Their energy was infectious and made the entire experience that much more fun. After we triumphantly escaping with less than 2 minutes to spare, the team was just as amazing, celebrating with us and taking the time to chat about our favorite puzzles and the game's backstory. Their passion for what they do is clear, and it made us feel incredibly welcome. This escape room is a must-do for anyone looking for a thrilling challenge and a great time. The outstanding puzzles and the incredible staff make it an unforgettable experience that you'll be talking about long after you've escaped. We can't wait to come back and try...
Read moreOur first attempt at an escape room, for this group of 5. We did the Gilmen Hotel. It started a bit chaotic because the lobby was full and we had a bit of trouble hearing our guide. Group came out of the previous session and there was some chatter about the puzzles, but luckily managed to avoid spoilers. Room started well for us but then went downhill. Really liked the receptionist, added some hilarity. Felt like we aced the start (even got a hint for something we'd already solved!?!) but in the next phase we had a problem with one of the props so assumed we had wrong answer and then got stuck. Didn't hear from guide at that point for a little while, just when we needed him... when we did, we realised we were right before and needed to retry the prop. Found it difficult after that point, and time was against us, last minute help proved futile. Also got hung up on one prop which proved to be a "nice to have" and not essential to escape. So in summary we really liked the atmos, decor, challenges, acting. As newbs we felt a bit abandoned in the start of the 2nd phase, with so much information to deal with. Our guess is that because it was a Saturday afternoon the staff were spread a bit thin, which our guide mentioned at the start. Also some references used in the clues confused us even more! Gutted to not escape but I guess we should have started with...
