Had our first experience of The Panic Room in Gravesend today, and we'll definitely be back. We did the Rat Run escape room, and it was brilliant. Definitely a workout for the old grey matter. A test of logic and common sense, and thinking outside the box.
If you get completely stuck, you can get hints, and the answer to the questions to get codes, but it's much more fun to try to work them out.
The room is really well put together, with all the things you need around it.
My 11yo son, who lives the 1% Club was really good at working out the clues, and he wants to come back for his birthday.

Read moreWe went for the crazy golf. As a group of three adults we entered the room and found it a little underwhelming! The room was fairly small with 12 different holes. The Alice in Wonderland theme was quite cute. We got the feeling it was more aimed at children or families. Most of the holes were very easy, a couple of different ideas like the table golf and the plink plonk made it fun. We finished the course quite quick and headed to the bar. Read moreMy son and his friends played laser tag and then went on the air hockey, mini golf and arcade machines as a birthday treat. They were a mix of ages but all had a fantastic time. The laser was fun and well run and the mini golf was very cool. The air hockey table was also a huge hit and the retro arcade games. They really didn't want to leave.
