Beijing Banquet - All You Can Eat Buffet - Falkirk — Restaurant in Great Britain

26/7/24 booked in for 1 pm Couldn't wait to try out the food there.

I have the feeling that nearly ALL THE FOOD is very good. The chicken 🐥 dishes were nice & tender especially the balls of chicken [some oval & some round] BUT their sweet & sour sauce could have been a wee bit more thicker - despite that it tasted very nice.

My friend enjoyed whatever she had - no complaints there 👍 I was too busy whizzing about sampling most of all the other food items.

I was near finished when one of the waitresses told me to try out their pepperoni pitza 🍕 as their freshly made. Well up I went & just opted for a small slice - it was nice & hot BUT the tasteless cheese was a ❌ between chewing gum & plastic.

NEXT on to my small tub of ice cream 🍨 that i filled up from the machine was nice & thick, smooth & creamy, but not as good as the ice cream from the Esplanade cafe in Greenock OR from the one in Bigger

NEXT their fruit - I had a few of their hard tasteless sliced pears & their peach slices which were very nice BUT i had no more room to scoff a slice of two of the lovely cakes 🍰 🧁 & sponge 😋 that were on display - but WE will be back again.

We have been to Beinjing Banquets before and loved the food. But unfortunately our visit to here wasn't as great. There was a few empty hot food plates, there was no pizzas (were told there would be the next day) the ice cream machines were out of order and the desserts were sparse and the area was messy and sticky. We were still charged full price yet the full buffet wasn't available. I'm assuming there's been a few teething problems with the opening as it was only the 2nd day of opening. There was a few issues we noticed ( people's table's being taken by other customers while they were up getting plates of food) it happened a few times. Seemed a bit chaotic. Upon driving to the premises the first thing you noticed is unsightly white towels hanging over windows instead of blinds/curtains. Then another larger door area you could see alot of what looked like surplus furniture and fixings. Not the best look for a new business. I'm hoping it's just all temporary and once they find their feet and there's a little less demand that service, food and the premises will be better in a few weeks. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and we will try again in a few weeks and hopefully all will be better...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Beijing Banquet, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! The variety and quality of the food were truly impressive. Every dish I tried was delicious and well-prepared. The flavors were authentic, and the presentation was appealing, making it a feast for both the taste buds and the eyes.

The service was friendly and attentive, and the dining area was clean and spacious, creating a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy the meal.

The only minor downside was that closer to 3 pm, as the buffet was winding down for their 4 pm closing time, some of the food stations were not being replenished as frequently. While I understand this is standard practice to minimize waste, it would have been nice to see a few more options available during that time. That said, the food that was out remained fresh and tasty.

Overall, Beijing Banquet is a great spot for anyone craving a wide variety of Chinese cuisine in a welcoming environment. I highly recommend visiting earlier in the day to fully enjoy the extensive selection. I’ll definitely be returning for...
