Christies Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Great Britain

We have been coming down to Torquay for over 40 years and tried several fish and chips shops. After trying one of the alleged better chip shops in babbacombe last week we decided never again. Googled to find other shops in the vicinity, Christies jumped out with great reviews. Tonight i tried it, first thing that struck me was the lovely lady who had such a lovely personality. She kindly split the chips between the 2 boxes and even put a cross on mine because there was a bigger fish in it. but the the biggest test would be what would my missus think of them. FANTASTIC ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Me and my family were staying in Babbacombe for a few nights, and really fancied a take away. Not knowing the area we searched for a fish and chip shop and found this place. The reviews were amazing so decided to give it a try and what can I say they were amazing. The staff were so friendly, helpful and served us with a smile and the food was gorgeous, tasty and not greasy at all! We placed a big order on Monday, and they threw in some freebies too which was so lovely of them.

Will definitely re visit when we come down for a Holiday...

Was just walking past, saw this fantastic looking establishment and thought “tell you what, let’s get some chips” little did I know, the portion sizes could feed an African family of 8. For just £3.65 for chips. The love and attention to each individual chip was something I’ll be telling my grandkids about. Lovely service and a friendly smile from the two behind the counter.
