Greggs — Restaurant in England

Its closed! If only could stay open until 8pm a few nights for people on shifts. Maybe with the right management, those doing a late don't do an early? Also think if I was boss I would open at 05.30 STRICTLY for local workers.( proof needed, trial for 1month). Everyone loves Gregg's, my mom and I wrote to C.E.O at least 8yrs ago to open a branch in Paignton. Clever C.E.O. he did.!!!!! Unfortunately after my mom got her "angel wings". Several 'pasty' shops less then 500yards BUT no queues as with Gregg's! Staff always professional. Shop always clean. Prices excellent value for money. Everything always fresh. Would however, like more of the 'Hot chicken items ( plain, BBQ, spicy) Also the soups are so so tasty! Maybe a small recyclable cup be worth a thought? To top everything off a 'Paper bag/ wooden cutlery/ used serviettes in a " GREGGS GOING GREEN" BIN. IF...

Lovely staff friendly and their cheese and ham toasties are AMAZING!! Very reasonably priced my mum and me went in here for lunch and got 2 toasties, 2 large coffees and 2 chocolate doughnuts filled with cream all for under £10.. however their toilet seriously let them down.. no toilet paper and it was quite dirty.. I didn't use it and advised my mum to do the same.. which is my reasoning behind the starts.. but did you know that Gregg's is one of the largest donators to path(homeless food bank) every day they donate everything they don't need or don't sell amazing right? Seriously keep up the good work you're helping...

Visited here for the first time. Had a sausage, cheese and bean slice I think it was. Really nice to begin with, sausage was cooked well, beans not too thick yet not too much juice either and consistency of cheese was perfect. My only issue was with the very last bite....it was the corner and when my teeth broke it up I got this AWFUL wretching taste of cooked oil. With every chew it was just all I couldn't of taste and that absolutely ruined it for me. I would of given 5 stars up until that point.
