Cafe one hundred — Restaurant in England

Popped into this little café for a mid-afternoon snack. It's away from the busy seafront, just up the hill from the main shopping area. The café is very clean, with a pleasing contemporary decor and a relaxed atmosphere. There's a choice of seating and a few tables on the pavement outside. The toilets, down a fairly steep flight of stairs, were also very clean. The couple who run the café were both friendly and helpful. They serve breakfasts, paninis, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, and a few simple hot meals. I fancied a scone, but it was fairly late in the day and they had none left, so I had a buttered teacake instead, served with a pot of tea. The teacake was very fresh, and the tea was strong and hot. We visited late morning on a cold, wet Saturday. We stayed for about two hours, and the place was busy throughout that time. Seating was comfortable and we felt as though we had plenty of room. Food and drinks are ordered and paid for at the counter, and brought to the table by staff. The staff members were pleasant and efficient, and waiting times were minimal despite the number of customers. The atmosphere was informal and relaxing and made us want to stay put! This business is a friendly and somewhat homely cafe, the employees who I have met are lovely and endeavour to make your experience as preasent as possible.

My only reason this establishment is getting 4 stars instead of 5 is due to their breakfast, I found the products to taste a little cheap.

Although, i found their jacket potatoes to be large in size and tasty. Salads on the other hand taste fresh and are made to order right before your eyes, the same can be said for their baguettes and sandwiches, all this whilst also offering a variety of toppings for a reasonable price.
