Absolutely delightful, my new favourite restaurant in Glasgow. I visited for a solo pre-xmas treat, opted for the chefs counter tasting along with the soft pairings, and everything was fantastic. It’s hard to pick a favourite on a menu with such consistency, highlights though included the beef short rib with its delicious deep and satisfying sauce, the indulgent buttery monkfish, and the apple dessert with an ice cream that immediately brought a smile to my face. Special mention too to the soft pairings, often overlooked, they really added to the experience with many of them being lovingly created in house and I dare say showing much more creativity than the alcoholic option. The service was attentive and friendly throughout, and the chefs counter meant I got an introduction to each course from the various chefs, all of whom were friendly and welcoming throughout the evening and gave a glimpse into the dishes and cooking methods that was fascinating. I can’t recommend this place enough and am already looking forward to another visit. Thanks to everyone for providing such a fantastic evening.

It was my partner and I’s anniversary and as a surprise, I chose to dine at Elements. We were welcomed with a generous drink for our special occasion and everything became more and more spectacular from there. I chose the Chef’s Counter Table for something different and do not regret anything. We witnessed each course being put together while interacting with the chefs. Everything was so intricate! Not only beautiful presentation but also very delightful to our palates. Each dish complimented each other so well that even my very picky eater of a partner complimented each and every “element”. Mr Gary Townsend’s “Cheese” dish is a must try. We’re not a big fan of cheese and this savoury/sweet dessert blew our minds!! Huge compliments to Mr Townsend. The Cocktail and Mocktail list was just as good as the food and as a bonus, they had Blue Mountain coffee which topped off the meal for my dear. We cannot fault this restaurant at all and we can’t wait to go back for more great food!

Honestly cant say enough great things about our dinner experience last night in Elements. Everything was amazing, the food, service, atmosphere and staff engagement was the best we have experienced for a long time. Coming from the South side of Glasgow my only compliant is that we don’t have one closer to home!!! Special thanks to Jack for his expert guidance on the Tequila!!! :):):). We will be back soon!!

This restaurant is a lovely welcoming space, with lots of nice details - generously sized tables for two, really comfy seating, lighting that actually illuminates without being overwhelming (important at my age), beautiful and thoughtful crockery and cutlery. It all adds up to a laid back, quietly luxurious experience.

I've been twice, both times choosing the tasting menu, and each time every course has been beautifully presented, with great attention to detail, and ranged from very good to outstanding. I get the sense that Chef Gary is interested by and likes experimenting with textures - take the outstandingly good sea bass dish, which (as well as exceptional fish cookery) showcased beautifully cooked meaty mushroom and waxily gorgeous jersey royals, all contrasting against the fabulous crispy fish skin. It's also one of the few restaurants where I actively look forward to desserts; I don't have a sweet tooth and often find desserts overwhelming but here they're perfectly balanced for my taste.

Is it completely flawless? No: at this visit I felt one dish didn't come together fully on the plate, and perhaps thought there was a minute lack of seasoning once or twice - but I'm nitpicking. As a dining experience overall it's great and noteworthy for being so hospitable and welcoming; I wholeheartedly recommend coming here for a special meal. Everything from the absolutely delicious sourdough bread and butter to the utterly delightful little petit fours works to make you feel welcomed and cared for.

A big part of the experience is the service, which is warm and attentive without being obtrusive. A huge thank you to our wonderful server, Rory, who was thoughtful and kind, laughed at my awful jokes, very knowledgeable about the menu and wines and generally took fantastic care of us (and didn't bat an eyelid as my husband tried to show me how to make a chicken out...

Everything was divine! The staff is very welcoming and the atmosphere is beautiful. All of the seating is very comfortable. The kitchen is so quiet and it’s fun to have the open view. The mocktail choices were lovely and plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options. I had the three course seasonal lunch menu, which was fantastic. The canopies had a lovely crunch and appreciated this luxurious little starter. A little less salt on this one would be perfect. I will add that the lamb was cooked to perfection, super tender and mid rare. I loved the contrast of the candied, lemon peel and smoky aubergine with this dish. The brown sauce was a little salty for my taste, but everything else was perfect. I loved the truffle butter on the housemaid gluten-free biscuit. It’s always such a nice touch when the gluten-free bread is high-quality like this. The tuna dish was excellent, buttery and perfectly seasoned. The chocolate ganache was beautifully contrasted with the pistachio ice cream and dark cherry. What a lovely experience! So glad I added this bit of luxury to my camping trip up to the North Highlands. My best meal in...

The experience at Elements is on another level. My husband and I went for our anniversary and have dined at a number of lovely places both in the UK and abroad. We both agreed that the dining experience at Elements has been the best. We had the tasting menu. The atmosphere is just lovely, the staff are keen to make sure you have a wonderful experience and really know their knowledge of the food and drinks served there. The service was great! When it comes to the food and drink, the flavours on offer are amazing and really are a wonderful sensation for the tastebuds. The food is cooked to perfection and is just the right portion. As for the drinks, my husband had the wine pairing and was very happy with all of the choices, especially since some wines were from regions he had never tried before. I had the soft pairing. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised with the effort gone into each drink. Each drink was amazing and the pairing was on point with each meal. Thank you to everyone at Elements for such a wonderful experience. We are already planning a date to...
