This is a true and honest review in are opinion. We, arrived at 7.0pm and had to wait a short while for a table. Unfortunately in that time 2 people left due to not receiving there food for a long time.. Which was concerning. We were seated and a, drinks menu was given to us. No food menu...... After about a 15 minute wait are drink order was taken and we asked for a food menu. If your expecting the usual Indian foods. Ie madras. Vinderloo. Ticka masla. Bombay potatoes...different rices.. This is definitely not the place for you...... We placed are good order.. And waited a very long time... And in that time another two people left.. And one other party of 8 threatened to leave if there food did not come... There was obviously a issue in the kitchen. But when asked the waiter why the delay. He replied every single order is cooked from scratch and fresh.... I'm struggling with this concept as I feel it Coukd be there downfall... Waiting 20mins or 30 mins is OK. But up to hour is definitely not.. The food was OK. And very tasty. And very different from the normal Indian food.. We ordered a lamb biriani. Which came dry as they do not serve a vegatable curry with it. The chicken curry was OK but lacked a bit of depth.. The dosa was very good. In general the food was at a high standard if not different... We did not have any desserts even though we were offered some... The waiter was informative just explaining the delays are caused by all food being cooked fresh... I'm struggling with the 500 reviews all giveing five stars. Or did we just go on a bad night..... But I do wish them all the best.. They definitely have a good concept but the waiting times need to be addressed..as we arrived at 7.0pm and left at 10.00 and that was just 2 courses. Thank you...

If I could give Flames of India more than five stars, I absolutely would. This restaurant is a true masterpiece in the world of Indian cuisine, a shining jewel that every food lover must experience. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with warm, genuine hospitality that sets the perfect tone for what is about to be an unforgettable culinary journey. The food is nothing short of divine. Every dish bursts with authentic, rich, and carefully layered flavors that speak to the incredible passion and craftsmanship behind the scenes. The butter chicken was ethereal, tender, succulent, and bathed in the most luscious, velvety sauce that tasted like it was blessed by the gods themselves. The biryani was a masterpiece of aromatic perfection, each grain of rice infused with soul and spice. What truly sets Flames of India apart is their attention to detail. The naan was the fluffiest, most flavorful I’ve ever had, practically melting in my mouth. Their vegetarian options are equally mind-blowing, hearty, vibrant, and absolutely packed with flavour. Every bite felt like a celebration. Flames of India doesn’t just serve food; they create art on a plate. It’s clear that every dish is prepared with love, tradition, and an unmatched commitment to excellence. This restaurant raises the bar for what Indian cuisine should be, it is an experience you will dream about long after the last bite. Do yourself a favor and visit Flames of India. You will be enchanted, delighted, and forever changed by the magic they create.

The hospitality and customer focus is first class. Thank you for the warm welcome. Unique Freshly cooked Menu is not limited to one region of India. Food - Not the traditional Indian menu that we are all accustomed to. This restaurant will give you an opportunity to try some authentic India 🇮🇳 dishes that are not commonly available elsewhere. Please try the menu, don’t dismiss it at first sight. We had soups for starters and hands down they are the best soups that we ever had in any Asian restaurant. The chicken and sweet corn 🌽 was deliciously good. The whole dining experience was really positive, staffs are so friendly and engaging. Even the chef came out to introduced himself and make sure that the food was alright. When do you ever see that?? This place is flawless. The food is great, the place is clean, ambience is great, and the staffs are great. The food was an infusion of flavours, I enjoyed the fact that it’s different from the usual stuff that we come to expect. Their version of naan bread is flaky, crispy and full of flavours. The rice dishes, love them!! The meat was so tender and fully of rich flavours. Food can be cooked to individual liking and it is all freshly done. Guys keep up the good work. So glad that we tried your restaurant. We have a passion for good food and this restaurant excel where others have failed. Finally, it’s not going to break the bank either, we had three starters, two mains, two set of drinks each, and one desert all for £85.

From the moment I stepped into this remarkable Indian restaurant, I was transported straight to the heart of India. The ambience is simply breathtaking—elegantly designed with traditional décor, soft lighting, and subtle Indian classical music playing in the background. Large windows offer a stunning view, adding a serene touch that perfectly complements the entire dining experience.

The staff are nothing short of outstanding. The waiters were incredibly polite, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring every guest felt welcome. Their manners and professionalism were on par with the best fine-dining establishments I’ve ever visited. They were happy to explain dishes, make recommendations, and check in without being intrusive—an absolute masterclass in hospitality.

Now to the real star: the food. Every dish was a masterpiece, bursting with authentic flavors and prepared with evident love and precision. Whether it was the creamy butter chicken, aromatic biryani, or the melt-in-your-mouth gulab jamun, each bite felt like a celebration of India’s rich culinary heritage. The spices were perfectly balanced, and presentation was flawless.

Special mention goes to the hygiene and cleanliness—everything was spotless, from the dining tables to the washrooms. You can truly dine here with confidence, knowing that quality and care go into every aspect of the experience.

If you’re looking for an Indian restaurant that offers world-class cuisine, impeccable service, and the warm, vibrant feeling of India, look no further. This place is a...
