Walked half a mile for the water to come up to my knees and then eventually I was crawling THATS NOT THE WORST PART! worst part is I went with few friends and we got cuts on our feet hands and toes... very hard to walk on the SAND NOT EVEN SAND! Sharp pebbles! sharp shells! LITERALLY CLAY and weird metal/wood bits sticking out from the SAND NIGHTMARE!! Seaweed washed up to the shore ! Read moreFirst time coming here and very happy to say I'd come again. There are parts of the beach with sand and parts with pebbles so if you're looking for a sandy bit keep going. The tide comes up all the way so don't leave your stuff too long, but that was only for a short while and we went to get food before coming back to sit on the beach again.
