Hello 7 — Restaurant in Great Britain

We have given this two stars because the food was nice however, we were told there would be a 40 minute wait when we rang. There was no chicken balls or boiled rice at 7:10pm on a Saturday night so we had to initially change the order. After an hour and a half and 54 attempts to get in touch I was told that they had turned the phone off because they were too busy by a very rude assistant. The food arrived and my order was wrong and had to contact them again. I could not afford to wait any longer for food as this would have been nearly 2 hours after I had initially ordered and everyone else in the family had either already eaten or was eating. Tried this takeaway today.

First of all, the phone service was excellent, the lady who took my order understood very clearly what I wanted and was very amiable.

The delivery was cheap at £2.50 delivering to Durham city and there was no mimimum spend. It was a fast delivery too! though, we did order quite early in the evening so this probably helped.

I had the Szechuan spare ribs, and my friend has the quarter aromatic duck. They both tasted very nice. It felt like the food had been prepared well.

It came with free prawn crackers too!

Second time this has happened where food was missing. It’s very annoying when you order a takeaway on a Saturday night and you only get the chips without the chicken. I spoke to someone on the phone, instead of offering to send me the full meal again, I had to eat the chips on their own, and I’m still waiting for my chicken.
