Newton Fish Bar — Restaurant in England

This is my updated review since it was refurbished. Not sure if changed hands also but just had some chips from here and am happy with the improvement: nice portion size, well cooked, and very tasty. Nice looking premises and flyers. I will try it again shortly with fish and other items and further update the review accordingly. Keep up the portion size and quality and this will be my preferred chippy. I do want to support smaller local businesses! Hope others will retry and update outdated reviews. I've eaten here a few times. Still my favourite chippy in my home area....

Ordered online since it was late in the afternoon and we had been working most of the day. I've had fish and chips from many places using online delivery but they were all pretty bad. I'm glad I went for this place and the fish was perfectly cooked and very tender and the batter was crispy. Chips were delicious and same can be said for their curry sauce. Good price and despite some reviews stating that the portion sizes are too small, they are anything but that and they were incredibly generous and well...

After many years of being an old dilapidated chipshop with extremely bad food, I am happy to say it now has new owners who have completely stripped the whole place and done a much needed refit along with a slight name change.

The food is miles better not the best there is but still very nice, the owners and staff are friendly and the prices are okay.
