This is not the first time Iāve visited this restaurant. THis visited I took my disabled mother and sister. I have to say Iām NEVER disappointed. Excellent food choice, the food is consistently topped up and the staff are amazing and attentive. I notice one review stating staff members were simply ignoring smaller tables - clearly someone with a vendetta against the staff members - I would advise anyone ignore that comment and see for yourself. We as a party of 3 were continually serviced even though the restaurant was busy. I can also confirm the service staff are simply amazing and attentive we were served by Mel and unfortunately didnāt get the other servers names - but 2 further servers attended to us also. NOthing was ever too much for the staff and I actually spoke to the manager to compliment the staff and the restaurant (people are always quick to comment on issues but never quick to compliment) I feel this is important. Anyhoo food as usual was amazing and HOT, the kitchen staff continually topped up food that was running low. There was no sloppiness around each dish as the staff regularly monitor for food/liquid spillages. The restaurant itself is immaculate and well designed and decorated. Was super surprised at the heated toilet seat however I would mention this is not carried into the disabled toilet facilities which is a shame. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone and itās great for couples, families and parties. A guest during my visit was celebrating their birthday and the waiting staff brought them a birthday cake and put in happy birthday music which was nice. All I would say is take the negative comment posted recently with a pinch of salt, Iāve been her on more than one occasion and the service has been attentive consistently as has the standard and quality of food and Iām quite hard to please in these departments. Al in all an excellent...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHave been quite a few times since opening and Iām not a buffet type of person. Not one disappointment!
Firstly the staff.
Wun -Manageress. Possibly the friendliest, most customer focussed restaurant manager that Iāve come. Across.
SinSin (Not sure of the spelling!) as friendly and approachable as youāll get and always that big smile.
The rest of the staff just canāt do enough for you. Each and every one of them want you to feel welcome and although itās a self service buffet, they are always available for everything that you need.
Food.
Iāve possibly tried just about every single variation that can be pulled together with the massive selection. From traditional Chinese, extending to Sushi, & Thai and our very own roast and beef stew. They even do a shin beef curry - Give it a Try! And not forgetting the live cooking with shellfish, salmon, chicken breast & beef steak. Scallops with Thai sauce is one to try.
Tons of deserts from various cheesecakes to plane biscuit and absolutely everything in-between. One slight issue is the ice cream appears to be quite solid. Perhaps invest in an ice cream machine. And not to forget the canāt floss machine that they have for the kids! This alone would cost at least Ā£5 per portion so moneyās worth on the kids right there.
Iām told-By others, that the heated toilet seats are Devine. Not my words! š„“
Cleanliness. 10/10
Settings and atmosphere. 10/10 Stunning decor and furnishings.
Caution: Donāt sit under a speaker if thereās birthday party(s) ā¦. If you know, you know! š
All in all. Itās something that the area has been missing and certainly fills that void with exception.
Well done to all of the staff in the background that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSmart selection of food with a good balance between Chinese dishes, British dishes and kids' dishes. The dim sum bar was a nice touch, and they had a few curries and some less well known dishes like Singapore noodles.
The fresh bubble waffle bar and the teppanyaki bar were really nice touches. In general, food was good and staff was lovely, if a bit overworked.
Note that this place is family-friendly and there are a LOT of kids, with the mess and noise that creates. Also, the teppanyaki and dessert bars are far too small for the number of tables so it's a long wait and the cramped dessert corner can get really messy and hard to move around in.
I'd suggest a larger, more open dessert bar with room for people to move in and out - if they're going to be family friendly then they should plan for an extra dessert traffic. Maybe move to soft serve ice cream instead of tubs to help speed...
