Title: A Delightful Blend of Art and Culinary Delights
Review:
Nestled in the heart of the town, the charming art gallery and cafe provided an exceptional experience for both me and my beloved labrador companion, Happy. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were enveloped in an ambiance of creativity and warmth.
The Gallery's curated collection of artwork, thoughtfully displayed on its walls, captivated my senses. Each stroke and brushstroke spoke volumes about the passion and talent of the artists featured. The diverse range of styles and mediums created an immersive atmosphere that left me inspired and intrigued.
Accompanied by Happy, I settled at a cozy table overlooking the gallery, surrounded by vivid expressions of human emotion. The friendly and attentive staff readily accommodated my furry friend, ensuring both of our comfort during our visit. It was a pleasant surprise to find a place that valued pet-friendliness as highly as this establishment.
I ordered a delightful latte, a perfect balance of rich espresso and velvety milk, lovingly prepared by skilled baristas. The aroma alone was enough to awaken my senses. Paired with a slice of homemade Victoria sponge cake, it was a match made in culinary heaven. The cake's delicate texture and exquisite flavor were a testament to the chef's dedication to their craft.
The Gallery's commitment to supporting local artists and promoting creativity within the community is commendable. It's refreshing to see an establishment where art and culinary expertise effortlessly intertwine, elevating the overall experience. Whether you're a fellow art enthusiast, a coffee lover, or simply seeking a serene escape, the Gallery is an absolute gem that deserves to be discovered.
With its inviting atmosphere, delectable treats, and passion for art, this art gallery/cafe will surely leave you with a warm smile and a lasting impression. I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden treasure to anyone seeking a delightful blend of culture, comfort, and canine companionship.
In summary, Happy and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this incredible art gallery/cafe, and we eagerly look forward to returning soon for another...
Read moreUse it or loose it as they say!! Colwyn Bay is very lucky to have this niche little place. This art gallery cafe would not be out of a place in Southbank, London or Brighton. It has an amazing little vibe.
What’s great. Nice plant based cappuccino or latte? Not a problem. Delicious cake to go with that? Coming right up. What about something to tickle your senses? How about stunning art? Will that do??!
Some really great artwork on display at incredibly affordable prices. Highlighting some of the best local talent and those further afield.
What could make this better? Exposure, and a clientele to perpetuate the cool vibe. Is Colwyn Bay ready for this is my only question?!! I hope so, this is the energy the Bay needs. Could this be the start of a more creative movement, dare I say a demographic shift further to COVID? Let’s hope so. Briggs is certainly the success story of the Bay. Get the offering right and the clientele will come.
Are you from the area? Are you visiting the area? Suggest you call and and see what they have to offer. It’s not far from the beach. 10 min walk max.
In a World where you can be anything be unique; stand in your own truth. I like this place and I fully intend to support this creative movement! I truly hope this is the start of something special.
Improvements; cocktails...
Read moreWas in colwyn bay and after costa closing down was struggling to find a decent coffee after 2 recent bad experiences but stumbled across the art gallery today and wow what an interesting place. Tables are laid out with paper as a table runner and a pot of pens I'm no artist myself but throughly enjoyed having a doodle. Very comfy seating. We only had drinks but there looked a good selection of cakes on offer. They also serve alcohol from a well stocked bar from what I could see. They also sell pens, paper, paint brushes and some novelty items. There was a snack bar aswel that had crisps and chocolate to buy. The coffees were fabulous and well made by the loveliest young man who was polite and very thorough in asking what type of milk we wanted etc. I had a latte my mum had a cappuccino and my brother an Americano. All batista made and we're hot and beautifully created. Also love the fact it was sugar lumps and not just pots of individually wrapped sachets. The cafe/gallery was clean and well stocked. Definitely need a place like this in llandudno so I can go daily. Absolute gem of a place with a cool vibe. Will definitely be my go to place when in colwyn bay can't fault it in...
