Really pleasant surprise when we tried here last night for the first time. Had the Mother board sharing platter between 3 of us. Delicious.... a little bit of everything on it and washed down with a bottle of wine. Owner brought over some water towards the end of our meal which we hadn't asked for but actually turned out to be just what we needed. Relaxed informal atmosphere. Nice feel to the place. mixture of tables and chairs to sit at or large comfy sofas. Closing times are not rigid. As with any good business if there's customers they will extend the opening times.. Prices - I didn't think it was expensive but everyone has a different idea of what they will pay for something - Definitely will be...

I booked via this establishment's website, with a table booking for 4pm, the earliest time that was available to book and the same time advertised as the opening time on Google. I arrived for 4pm, the place looked closed. I called the landline number given on Google, a man answered and assured me he would be there within 5-10 minutes. I waited outside the bar for 20 minutes looking like a bit of a mug. When I called again, I was given confusing and conflicting information regarding the bar's opening time by a woman. When the guy called me back, all he could do was say 'sorry' and nothing else. I guess I'll take my money...

Sat on couch with coffee table to eat off making it very awkward. Vegan and meat platter all came on the same board which was not great. I asked for 3 of the 4 cheeses to be changed as they were either old or had been stored incorrectly as only the middle bit was edible. The lady was very abrupt and dismissive of any issue despite the replacement cheese being jjust as inedible. Items also advertised were missing. Shame, as lovely drinks...
