Haus — Restaurant in Wales

Had the Haus full breakfast,oh my word ,it was amazing and so filling.Lots of lovely different flavours 👍What a gem of a cafe .Staff are so kind ,friendly and funny .I like my eggs really hard ,they were perfect .Try this place once and I promise it will be your new favorite place to eat ! Visited Haus last thursday after not being in for a few weeks .Was greeted with a big lovely smile off the young girl behind the counter "We have not sern you for a while .Are you okay? Nice to feel you are not just a number and you are remembered😊Had my usual or soughdough toast,peanut butter&banana .Which I love and I then decided to finish off with a lovely looking Victoria sponge ,with fresh cream and jam 😋oh my it was perfect 😍So fluffy and tasty👍best victoria sponge I have ever had .Only negative is the stairs up to the toilets but as I am improving with my health .I managed them pretty well this last time .Fab little cafe to visit and good...

I went here because my usual cafe was full. It felt warm and inviting and I had a cappuccino and a ginger caramel cake both lovely. I thought prices were moderate. You'd need to check but when I went about 2pm they were only serving drinks and cakes...not sure why? They allow well behaved dogs and I met a couple of very friendly ones 🐕 Staff are friendly. There are toilet facilities for customers but its upstairs. I doubt if they have a lift so it may not be suitable for disabled or if you find steps a challenge. A bit disappointed definitely considering this place came up in the Independent Coffee Guide in 2021... Nice decor/vibes inside but the coffee really wasn't as good as I was expecting. My decaf latte arrived way too hot, not tongue burning hot thankfully, but I had to wait at least 15 mins for it to cool to a pleasant drinkable temperature and it'd lost some sweetness. Strength/texture was good but it had a funny taste near the end, not sure if this was the decaf or milk but either way not good.
