A small Vietnamese place in the southside. Best to book in advance because it’s quite small and expect intimate seating- and bring cash. We got a few small plates and one main to share.

Crispy Viet Pork Rolls, £7.30 - Great flavours on its own but was even better when wrapped with lettuce and mint. That mint cut through the pork nicely.

(Special) Stir Fry Chicken, £13.80 - a little bit sweet and the pickles added a bit sour and crunch. Stand out dish for me.

Pork Dumplings, £7.30 - great crunch, and filling decent. Something a bit different and v tasty.

Summer rolls, £7.30 - Fresh and flavorful, packed with vibrant herbs and veggies. Although a bit expensive for just 2 rolls, the taste was worth it. I appreciated them giving us 2 sauces for them, as it comes with a peanut sauce.

Salt & Chilli Tofu, £6.50 - Not bad but needed the onions and sauces we had, a bit boring without them.

Rice, £3 - decent enough. Sticky and went well with the main. Always a bugbear of mine having to buy rice separately.

Affogato, £6.50 - nice way to top off the meal.

No photos I'm afraid as phones stayed in bags on my anniversary meal!

On an incredibly horrible wet, windy night we were welcomed into Little Hoi An with open arms. The tiny dining room was warm and cosy with perfect lighting, not too bright, not too dark. We were happy to be seated next to the radiator as we didn't have jackets on!

The staff were so lovely and attentive, having genuine conversations rather than the standard "how is everything". Very warm and friendly to match the interior.

The food though...absolutely delicious. The peanut sauce that came with the delightful summer rolls was my husbands favourite, but the real showstopper was the caramelised pork belly with egg. It came on a sizzling plate and the pork was cooked to perfection, literally just melting apart in a sticky glaze. I could have eaten a bucketful.

Pricing was fair and well deserved for the standard of food we were served.

I'm only angry with myself that we hadn't visited earlier, but we will definitely be back. What a wonderful place with absolutely...

Little Hoi An has been a highlight of 2020. Their food is fresh, delicious and just glorious. The owners and staff are all kind, generous and their produce is just outstanding.

The to go menu has firm favourites that stay week on week with a wee treat of something new often. I'd recommend it all. Seriously. All. Highlights have to include the dumplings, boiled or fried they are seriously good. The noodle salads are fresh and delicious. The fried noodles a real plate of comfort. The curries are all epic, and the satay, and the salt n chilli pork.... Like I said, I'd recommend it all. Oh, and the homemade lemonade. Yeah, thats the business.

Give it a go. You'll not be disappointed, and you'll be supporting a local business, run by wonderful people, who've been supporting the local community in a year in which, let's face it, good food is...

From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a delightful culinary experience. I started with the fresh spring rolls, which were light and refreshing, perfectly complemented by the savory dipping sauce. For my main course, I opted for the pho, and it was nothing short of incredible. The broth was rich and aromatic, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They genuinely cared about us as customers and ensured that our dining experience was smooth from start to finish. Will definitely go there again.
