Box of green chilli on offer. Picked up one on display to give to me....which looked light! Asked at counter how many kg in box....oh approx 2 to 3 kg. Now that would mean weight of green chilli! They put box on scales came to only 1.5kg now that includes weight of box!! The box alone would be approx 500 grams. Therefore giving only 1kg of chilli. So if I had not asked they were effectively doing me thinking I did not know. Could tell from their face they knew fine well! Anyway they topped it up to a total weight of 2kg that includes the box ..so really again not correct! That would give a total chilli weight of 1.4 to 1.5kg.

I knew at the shop anyway what was going on! I still left with it. Weighed it at home. Total chilli weight of 1423 grams. Wonder what happened to the 2 to 3kg approx.

As a said regular customer been going since day 1.....we all hate being deliberately taken for a mug!

Went to this store to purchase a bag of Tilda Grand which was priced at £40. I remembered in the car that another place was selling the same rice , £4 cheaper!!!. Went back to the counter to return. Was told by the owner and the person at the till(who was extremely rude) saying you can't return the bag back as it was paid by card. In this day and age what shop can't do refunds on cards??!! Absolute joke!! I demanded my money back, so got cash instead after a big argument. The person at the till did not know how to respect and speak to ladies. Avoid this store at all costs, there were no customer cars in the car park, which shows how well it runs!! All the workers were full of attitude and its a store with excessively priced items. £4 over for just a bag of rice, imagine if you did your weekly shop there, how much overcharging that would be. Very...

I really like the shelf produce, and have brought my friends here.

But today I witnessed the butcher contually cough into the chicken he was cutting. Then, coughed up something into his hand (the one that was holding the knife) and flick it onto the floor and continue butchering. I could see him continually coughing onto the chicken after this. It was very disturbing to watch and has made me think twice about shopping here.. so sad 😢

Only leaving this review so that the owners can see this and up the standards, as I want this place...
