Placed a order on the McDonald’s app before getting there, got to the drive through and the speaker directed us to the one futher up sat there for 15 mins staff was outside smoking just looking at us no one said anything. Decided to drive to the next window incase the speaker was broken (it wasn’t) staff member seen us in the car and kept ignoring us then kept shouting through the window were closed. I was trying to get his attention to ask about the order but refused to come to the window. When he finally come to the window he said with attitude we’re closed and went to close the window again, I asked him about the order as the money was taken and I wasn’t sure what to do he was very blunt and said no money would be taken out showed him that the order has gone through he huffed and left to get a manager, the manger was lovely super helpful with how to change it on the app to do amendments. I don’t think it’s great customer service and I appreciate they’re closing but I only needed help to make amendments to the order I didn’t really appreciate the attitude that was given was really rude this same person also seen the car waiting at the speaker for ages so he could of even made us aware then. Went to McDonalds here to take advantage of their cracking 3 for £3 offer and opted for x3 packets of chicken nuggets (because protein is key, am I right?). I patiently waited for my number to be called. The scary, hefty lady called my number (my order number and not my phone number as I would have moved countries had she done that). I walked up to collect my chicken nuggets with open palms. She threw them at me. She threw my chicken nuggets at me. I am surprised that she didn’t dent the counter that she slammed them on. Nuggets still tasted fine (I’d give around 6/10. Solid protein for the gains). One recommendation I would make would be to the nugget thrower herself. This recommendation is that when her 40 something year old self decides to leave her post at McDonalds and seek a proper position elsewhere, she may want to consider trying out for the British Olympic Shot Put team. My order came but obv’s couldn’t prove it was mine, asked for a receipt, counter operative asked the customer excellence person for a receipt, customer service excellence professional said to counter op whilst stood in front of the receipt printer “ yeah he’ll have to wait a minute” excellent customer service - NOT I did have to wait a minute thing is I already had been waiting more than a minute, if only the customer service excellence professional did their job this rubbish feedback would have been better, Manager came to the counter just as was waiting and asked me “are you being dealt with?” As it was, I was.
