So being from the US this place is a bit different and caused me to ask some questions of the staff. Here is what I found the process to be: 1) Find a table/seat and review the menu. 2) Once you know what you want to order go to the bar with fore knowledge of tour table number (on the chalkboard portion of the menu holder) 3) For what I ordered it was brought to my table, I also saw pagers so possibly to advise when your order is ready? 4) Not sure if supposed to clear the table, saw a family sitting outside do this. Overall the place was clean and a charming decor. What I think was wait staff was ok in bringing my food but when asking questions I received simple yes/no answers. Wasn't mich else interaction though. Ordered shrimp, chicken tenders, and chicken wings. Unfortunately at 8:40pm they were out of the chicken tika and potato skins. Shrimp was fried, a bit too crispy for my liking. Chicken tenders were ok although a very plain BBQ sauce. Chicken wings were a bit too over cooked and the blue cheese dip didn't have any blue cheese chunks in it. Ordered a side salad which was access to the salad fixings (iceberg lettuce, tomato wedges, thick slices of cucumber, red onions, and a variety of dressings) along with a few other odds and ends. Had a pint of strongbow berry cider with my meal. Also ordered a mini desert brownie with latte, asked to take away as waking back to my hotel, they couldn't do the latte take away but upgraded to a full size brownie (which was appreciated). Watched them microwave it in the to go package and add a scoop of ice cream. When I did eat the brownie (about 1/2 hour later) it was a bit dense and reminded me of a brownie from a fast food place. Overall nothing special from my point of view as it looks like many may go for the buffet stuff.

I have never left a review for any place before but this awful food prompted me too make the first ever review. Shocking. £13 a pizza and this is what you get? You state “Generous helpings of pulled pork, pepperoni and chorizo topped with red onion slices, jalapenos and drizzles of chilli infused hot honey.” For a start I’ve seen more pulled pork on a vegetarian salad and what was on there tasted fishy then there was no chorizo whatsoever just pepperoni and then to top it off not a single drizzle in sight of chilli infused hot honey. The most shocking pizza I’ve ever had. Along with the worst made pizza when comparing to the description. I could have gone to domino’s pizza and got a large for £12 and it actually be decent. I’m genuinely disgusted I ate two slices and binned the rest. I also ordered the The Philly Cheese Steak pizza for my mother she opened the box and said what is this and she’s never one to complain the picture provided is of her Philly cheese steak pizza. I’d stay well clearly of this place if you’re after a pizza.ive seen some photos of other pizzas and they looked pretty decent which made me want to try but wow what a disappointment. For £30 for 2 pizzas of this quality I’m absolutely gutted and now starving until tomorrow as I had no food in the house until i go shopping tomorrow and I’ve wasted £30 on top of this. I will never ever allow you to do this to me again that’s for sure. I wish you knew just how annoyed I am.

Love the carvery, when I actually get it, last few times I've ordered it has been delivered with either no roast potatoes, or a lack of meat/slice of fat. They never give the sausage that's meant to come with the carvery either, and this time I ordered and the best part of the carvery is missing(the stuffing) and the bag it was delivered in was not sealed at all so if the delivery person dipped into my food I would be none the wiser. I had previously given 5 stars because it would come with everything before, but now it's hit and miss every time I order whether I actually get 'the works' If something is going to be missing then you should call your customer and inform them instead of delivering disappointment. Great portions most of the time though, and the food tastes great too, I'd definitely recommend it. Please also add options to remove things from the carvery to your menu, for example I'd prefer mine with no cauliflower cheese but there is no option to remove it. Thank you. (Update: Now I want to order and the only meat option available on your menu is gammon(screenshot uploaded)!? Why is this? And I try to call to enquire about why, and nobody answers the phone, pointless telling people to 'get in touch' on your website if nobody answers the phone lol)

Been a loyal customer to this carvery for years and years. Won’t go any where else except this carvery….however after yesterdays visit I have to finally close the doors on this establishment. I visited yesterday with a party of 4 (two children) it was all new staff working (which is a red flag in itself) I ordered two carvery’s and two kids meals (one a cheeseburger). Upon going to the carvery all the veg was bottom of the barrel. Where it had been under the warm lights for so long all the moisture had gone out of it and dried everything out. I asked the extremely large chef who always looks like he can’t be bothered to be there, if he could bring out some fresh veg. He replied he will check. Eventually he pulled out some fresh roasties that he was holding onto for some strange reason. I then went to the gravy station to find the worst gravy I’ve ever seen be paired with a cooked dinner. My Pepsi was thicker than the gravy. Upon sitting down the kids meals were brought to us. Except the cheeseburger meal was missing cheese or any garnish. I explained to the lovely waitress that we had asked for cheese on the burger. She then went back to the chef to get some put on but relayed a sarcastic messages from the chef saying “Next time specify cheese when ordering the burger”. I replied thats exactly what we had done to which she apologised on behalf of the chef. Ultimately this was the worst carvery we have had (and we’ve tried coopers before). Disappointing that this place has gone down the pan, was a...
