Tonight, I had an extremely disappointing experience with McDonald's. We placed an order via the app on Saturday, December 2nd, for the Newport, Shropshire location, as our local one in Telford was undergoing renovations. The order, placed at 17:53 with order number 009, resulted in a drive-through pickup around 18:20.Upon receiving the order, we noticed one bag was overloaded, while the other was half-empty. When I inquired if everything was included, the drive-through attendant confirmed. However, upon arriving home at around 18:45, the overloaded bag split, causing burgers and fries to scatter. To our dismay, the 20 chicken nuggets we ordered were missing.Upon contacting the restaurant, the supposed manager suggested checking CCTV footage and requested our order number and phone number for a callback. When the callback occurred, it was apparent they had the wrong order number. Despite confirming the missing nuggets, the manager failed to apologize and nonchalantly mentioned bags splitting is a common occurrence. When I requested a refund, the manager insisted on a return visit, even though I ordered through the app. The suggestion to replace the missing nuggets on my next visit was impractical, considering the inconvenience of a 20-mile round trip. The manager's response, "Well, don't come then," was shockingly dismissive.Expressing my dissatisfaction, I proposed a full order replacement, but the manager claimed it was too large to accommodate. The call ended abruptly, leaving me frustrated. I intend to escalate this matter to McDonald's...

Read moreGood location, good parking, quick enough service, clean and tidy inside. However..... When using the drive through, which since opening has been the majority of the time due to covid, I have more often than not been disappointed. Call me a monster but I love pickles and always order a burger with extra onions and pickles....I then get home (which is not even a 5 minute drive) I unwrap my burger to find a cold and very sad looking thing....I then open it up to check on my beloved pickles to find the standard two slices or very rarely 3 slices sat mockingly staring at me!!! I have also ordered coffees which come half empty (or full if you are an optimist) and have had various items or condiments missing from orders. Food is very often cold and friea are NEVER much more than half filled. Don't even get me started on the wraps, the clue should be in thr name yet they don't seem to ever be "wrapped" more like folded badly and stuffed in to their box acting like a type of salad hand grenade when opened. I know we aren't talking about fine dining here guys, and yes this review makes it seem as if I care about Ronald way too much...but every man has a...
