Spotless and clean. Friendly staff attentive manager and customer focus is really admirable. Update 9th Nov 2022. "Went from 5 stars to zero" Visited this evening on passing the restaurant was quiet inside. The machine using receipts was not working but it was not a problem as they were quick to acknowledge the issue and service was not interupted. I was present for about 1/2 hour and noticed that a number of tables had not been serviced and there was fries and rubbish on the floor unattended to for the duration of my visit. On finishing I went to put the waste in the provided containers but they were all overflowing with rubbish, litter discarded food. See photos: When being seated for food consumption it is not only unhygienic but degrades the experience to one of irritation to have to observe an unserviced environment and falls short of reasonable expectations. I asked why the place was left in such a state and the member of staff called what I assume was a supervisor who was what I would describe as officious and indifferent. I told her of the state and that I could count 10 + staff and it would only take about 10 minutes or so. She replied 'why don't you clean it yourself?' Such an incredulous response left me aghast. I took out my phone and asked her if she would like to repeat what was said to which she bolted out of sight. After this encounter I asked to speak to the manager who was just as indifferent and wandered away without seeking a resolution. The lady returned and was now becoming aware of the 1st rule of holes. (When you're in one, stop digging) she tried to explain that she was short staffed and the cleaners had finished. (Strange in a 24/7 operation) I pointed out how many staff I could count again and that such a response was totally unacceptable and that I would be taking the matter further. She did not offer an apology and made no effort to rectify the situation other than double down with the lame explanation. At this point I suggested that she should apologize. At this point I got a perfunctory apology that was not accompanied by any gesture of conciliation the than ticking a box. This is probably the worst experience I've ever had at a McDonalds considering it used to be highly esteemed by myself. They obviously are in need of staff training as the whole thing seems chaotic and exposed to ridicule which I'm sure sure I'll not be the last. If my complaint is redressed I will be sure to update my review. It is very unusual for me to give a negative review but in this case I'm doing them a favor off they take on board my observations. I hope this lady reflects on how to treat a customer and leaves this matter behind and becomes successful at what she does as we all should learn from our mistakes. Remember customers can exist without you but you cannot without them. Edit. My complaint was redressed but not on site at the time which is where complaints need to be to be meaningful. I'm assuming the high turnover in staff at these outlets will yield a different scenario over time so this review is now...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI entered the side door and as I had forgotten to place a mask on, a member of staff at the other end of the food/customer counter actually shouted across at me about putting a mask on. (Probably could have been handled less humiliatingly if came towards me halfway to say it, thankfully no other customers inside as I'd probably would have left due to the focus of attention of others). Self serve options were offline except one, however unless staff are nearby to instruct you, it's impossible to get on with it. Whether cash or card your guided to use the self serve unit and cancel at the end if not using a card payment. I had a voucher which meant I had to approach the till. I asked if could sit in to eat to which I were told 'not to sit at a 'do not sit' table!' Mmm? Anyway wrapping up, before the lockdown I had issues with the new layout, I witness food being placed in the tray of order packing building up while staff gather n natter. I usually have to point or mention that I can see my order ready before it's packed without any prompts. Every minute it is in the grab tray it loses its fresh cooked heat which I think matters more if there's more nattering than being busy. Staff are generally polite n attentive and I appreciate the new procedures taking it's till so good job Ozzy Park...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSeriously guys. Last three times Iāve been through the Drive-Thru Iāve been given the wrong food. The system seems to be working well. Decent way of ordering: brand spanking new screens so you can see what you have ordered (including special orders), get to the window to pay and again thereās a display of the order so I can determine whether Iāve ordered correctly. Payments are easy. Move to next window. Get my receipt and drinks, food getting bagged and given. Only to find out when I get it home that itās not my order in the bag.
The whole palaver of going though customer service to find out that Iām entitled to a Ā£5 voucher as a goodwill gesture is frustrating. Iāve said before that Ā£5 vouchers donāt cover the cost of the burger thatās missing but this seems to be to no avail.
It feels as though Iām collecting the vouchers like infinity stones at the moment.
I am left with no option but to post a review letting people know that the systems are broken.
Take a chance with Osmaston McDonalds knowing that you may need to take the food youāve got for your 2 year old back as others canāt have what they ordered.
