McDonald's — Restaurant in Great Britain

What's there to say. It's a McDonald's. Not one of the better ones either to be honest. The usual issue is the the daleks you have to order at have a habit of not spitting out the receipt with the order summary on it. Anyone who has been inside one of these establishments with young children will be aware how easy it is to forget exactly what you have ordered almost as soon as you have thumped the touch screen thingy in order for it register your want. This will leave you trying to remember your order number and hoping they get the order right as you have no proof of what you originally ordered or how much you have paid. Heaven forbid if you mention this to the staff. The blank look you will as they wander off is almost comical. Drive through is not much better either. We have now taken to stopping in the car park as we forensically dismantle the contents of our bag just to ensure that it bares some semblance of what...

I am a regular due to my kids and use drive through. Today experience was absolutely horrible. The staff taking payment was rude and unable to understand Order when repeated 3 times. May be English was a big problem for them. Once she took the payment, her facial expression were absolutely despicable. I felt embarrassed in front of my whole family. No payment receipt given even I asked for and told to move to the next window. My order was 2 kids happy meals. On the next window I was told to wait in the waiting bay. No body turned up in 10 min so I had to get off the car to approach the serving window again and I was told to wait while other customers getting served. Finally got the order and that lady was nice. Awful place, in comparison to the other MD's around Cardiff. After ordering, we waited at the counter, where our food, sat for 5 minutes while the staff, served all the Uber eats delivery drivers that came in after us, during this time we had to ask for our food again, which was now cold. We were then given a part order, forcing us to revisit the service counter during eating our cold food and wait for another 10 minutes for the rest of our order. The ambient music was suited for those who like a particular style/sound that resembled an artist just talking loudly while we eat our cold food. This did not make us feel relaxed or welcomed. A security guard was patrolling the restaurant area, making us feel, uneasy, not sure why the security guard was there but probaly waiting for something to kick off, felt like we were not at a safe place to eat.
