Booked shuffle board yesterday morning and received an email stating it wasnât confirmed so I rang @15:27 and Spoke to a lady and was informed that she could see me on the system and I could have it for 21:00
Turned up at the bar and was told It was being used and I could wait but it could be up to two hours,
Obviously challenged this and was informed again that I hadnât had it confirmed and there wasnât a female working there during the day and thereâs nothing that could be done..
We spoke to the people on the table and they informed us they were due to finish at 9 and the table was free after them, chap behind the bar said that wasnât right and they should still be on..
We then found a reservation notice with my name written on it at 9pm, took this to the manager and was told I want listening and the notice was a mistake and I hadnât booked and I was wrong to expect to play
Two mistakes A) was informed on the phone I was booked but wasnât? B) someone wrote notice of reservation out and put it on a table for an unconfirmed booking⊠(although this call wasnât supposed to have happened?)
Yet this is the customers fault? , No apology, just a repeated explanation that the system put me in a list and the person wrote the reservation out without checking who is confirmed so 3 reservations for two tables but only my sign out? felt like i was treated like I was being a nuisance and hassling people. And no matter what was said or brought to light the bar was right and the customer was wrong..
Given the current state of affairs and bars struggling I would have thought a bar would want custom and not want to drive business away to the competition.. myself as 1 member of a party of 4 spent ÂŁ120 on rounds last night and not a penny went into Mojos pocket.. madness that they can throw away...
   Read moreBooked the bottomless for my birthday, walked in no one greeted us so we went to the bar, told them we were here for the bottomless and then they just left us stood waiting at the bar for 15 minutes didnât even offer us a drink whilst we waited. This man took us to our table he was brilliant, not sure of his name but had a southern accent, he was quick & friendly and kept us topped up until unfortunately he finished his shift at 7. After this no one came to our table despite us having an hour and 40 minutes left of our bottomless, the only time we got table service was when our food was brought out. Other than that we were sat waiting with no drinks for long periods of time until we decided to keep going up to the bar to receive any service. One guy came to our table to collect empties and I explained to him how no oneâs coming round serving us and he said someone should be walking about but again no one did for the remaining hour and 40 minutes. Shocking service as 3 of them were behind the bar and we kept having to go to the bar to get any drinks. Really disappointed as Iâd read good reviews and chose to celebrate my birthday here.    Read moreThe bouncers at this place are HORRENDUS! We provided ID and requested to use the toilet however we were answered with âwe are not a public toiletâ and our IDâs were THROWN back at us!! I understand that not all places are open to allowing people to only use the facilities without buying a drink, however had that just been explained that they simply donât allow none paying customers to use the facilities we would have been on our way! There was absolutely no need for the behaviour! Safe to say we quickly moved on elsewhere! Not to mention that once actually in the building you wait at the bar whilst staff chat amongst themselves before serving you and the drinks are rather costly whilst not actually being all that drinkable! Tiny servings that taste vile all whilst draining your bank account! I think we will stick to monteys from now on!
