I am writing this to make you aware of the abuse of power that is happening within your establishment, with that said to also ensure that the bouncers are trained to understand when reasonable force should be used. Last night (15/3/24) myself, my boyfriend, sister & friend were at moomoo Derby. At around 1am my sister was told to “get up” and was grabbed immediately by her arms and forcibly took her outside. I understand that the establishment has right to remove an individual from the premises. However, there were 2 bouncers that forcibly removed my sister from the nightclub; 1. Without explanation 2. This force was not proportionate to the situation. I can’t even begin to express my frustration and anger regarding this matter. My sister was not even offered any water nor given the opportunity to be supported out of the premises by us, which they could have easily done as we were with her during this moment, had they asked us to. Where was the duty of care? My sister did not display any disorderly behaviour prior to being forcibly removed by two bouncers from the club, as by law bouncers are not legally authorised to forcibly remove an individual from an establishment using physical contact or force unless the situation...
Read moreJust moved to Derby from London, came in with my best friend , once we got to the door, the security don’t even said anything, just said get out lads, I’m 32 years old, and this was so disappointing, both of us super chill vibe, we came in and said “ good evening “ we were completely ignored, I’m general manager in this really nice restaurant in Nottingham, seriously 5 security guys at the door plus a girl, one of them just look at our tattoos and said to the other one “ no” and the other guy came over and said “ get out lads” no respect, no words to describe it really, I’ve been told this kind of things happen in derby often, so I always got to Nottingham instead, but tonight I said let’s give it a try, and really poor service poor attitude, we are both good looking guys with good energy, I do agree now with everything people say’s about Derby. Not like I need this place for anything, but the poor attitude and costumer service. Venues like this will...
Read moreI would never recommend this place to anyone. I am a 40 year old director that works 2 mins away in the market place, I was on a work night out when I went to meet my 42 year old husband and 30 year old brother. One of my colleagues suggested we meet up in Moo Moo's and when we got to the front of the queue I was asked for ID. Obviously I laughed as I thought it was a joke but I was told they were serious. All 3 of us were told we could not go in without ID which we said what 40 year old carries ID with them. The door staff were very rude and at no point said why they think its ok to ask someone who clearly is overage for ID. When we then asked for their names to complain we got no response at all and was ignored. All I can think is that we were too old for them. I would never take our business clients or staff on a night out here and would defiantly never recommend...
