My cousin and I made a reservation ahead of time, just to make sure we'd have a table. We got one. A lovely little table seated directly next to the bathroom, with the smell wafting in our direction each time the door opened. Which was frequently. Perhaps I could possibly understand this table arrangement if the place was full, but plenty of other tables remained unused for the entire duration of our dinner. Still, the seating arrangement was still easier to stomach then the food or the service. I'll admit, the nacho starter plate was actually quite decent. Which is why I was rather upset when the waitress yanked the plate off the table in passing, while I had only gotten through half of it. Without bothering to ask if I was finished with it mind you. The main course was simply bad. My cousin had a pizza that could have easily passed for a frozen one from a convenience store. I myself had the cajun chicken burger that came with fries so salty, they could keep the town's streets clear of snow for well over a week in the depth of winter. When we were finished (read: when we could stomach no more), we spent a good ten minutes trying to catch the attention of the staff so we could pay the bill. After which we had to ask once more, cause they had forgotten it.

But credit where credit is due. The music and the small cup of coleslaw that came with the burger...

We ate here 27th of July. Atmosphere was good, service was adequate due to staff shortages and being busy which is not the reason for my rating. The fish was excellent and the mac cheese was also excellent. I however ordered the ribeye steak and had to have it replaced as it had been for the lack of better words "pickled" with pepper to the extent that my mouth and throat were on fire, this ruined the steak to the point it was inedible. I can only assume that the chef was not familiar with steak and how it should be seasoned. And should maybe take some lessons as such. Everything else was good. And it was this one issue that...

It is highly recommended to reserve a table, which realized when I arrived. However, they nice enough to accommodate the party of 5. The server provided excellent recommendations for all of the which arrived very hot and very delicious. I can't wait to return, next time with a reservation. My wife had surgery, so her intake is limited which means I also had about 50% of her meal.
