Popped in to the Tay Cafe for a bite to eat while doing a cycling loop from Pitlochry. We had planned to go to habitat, but it was closed and ended going to the Tay cafe on a whim. The carrot and lentil soup was delicious, flat white - the perfect balance between frothy milk and hot milk. Oh, and the tray bakes were as delicious as they looked. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a quick lunch if you are in Aberfeldy.

Small place serving cakes and sandwiches. The sandwiches looked stuffed with filling which is nice to see and I tired a chicken fajita wrap which was toasted. Plenty of chilli and chicken so all good stuff. The two cake bakes I tried were also very nice. No where to park but on the main street just along from the cinema. Looked clean inside.

I would move here for their mushroom quiche. It tastes like what dreams are made of. When I finish eating it, I look sadly down at my plate because I already miss it. The crunchy crust, mushrooms and feather light egg are made perfectly. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Terrible service. I asked for a bacon roll, it took 20 minutes for them to make it (the cafe was quiet) while the chef was on her phone replying to messages that were pinging throughout the cafe for customers to hear. I eventually received my bacon roll and the bacon was undercooked (even after 20 mins of so called cooking time). It was raw. And I'm not a fussy eater, especially when I'm starving. I didn't inform staff as they were too busy on their phones. Very highly priced. A small salad the size of a doughnut, ÂŁ7. Wouldn't recommend visiting The Tay in Aberfeldy...

Nothing but positive things to say!

I have been here every day since we came to Aberfeldy. And it is the best place to eat and/or have a coffee.

Food is great, and Anna is the best person to be around. Smiling, being friendly and professional.

It is a cozy place, and a great atmosphere. They offer take away which is nice if there isn't any room to sit.

We are definitely going back today and all the days we spend in Aberfeldy!

This is a must visit...

Popped In for lunch on Mon 16th March. Pleasantly surprised. My husband had the Cullen Skink soup and said it was the best he had tasted, I had a Hot dog. Said no chips please, good job I did, as the hot dog was humongous. With all the trimmings. Excellent, not easy to eat but delicious. Will definitely be back if we are in the vicinity again. Top marks to a lovely couple. The home made Quiches looked delightful so that’s for...
