I purchased two chicken tikka paninis from this store today. One for my 3 year old son.

I came home and my son took one bite into his panini. Just before he was to take his second, I found a plastic piece hanging out. My absolute outrage, and I'm sure any parent would have reacted the same.

I immediately called the shop to say I found a piece of plastic in one of the two paninis. Their reaction on the phone wasn't of being overly apologetic.

I went to the store and video recorded the incident. There was one customer at the till point waiting to be served when I mentioned to the gentleman I found a piece of plastic in this panini. This customer saw the offending foreign object and left in disgust. I received an apology and refund.

Furthermore, when I checked the Food Standards Agency website, Tastes last rating in 2016 was a 2!

Been going here for a while now and to be honest for how much I used to pay I wasn't too bothered about my egg not being runny or that the hash brown didn't taste fresh. But they have recently increased the price, which is fine, but at least make an effort in what you sell. My eggs still feel like they have been microwaved and hash brown still don't feel fresh. The desi tea doesn't taste the same either because there's some younger staff making it. I'm not saying it was all bad, the food was edible but next time I would rather go up the road for breakfast, pay the same price but at least it tastes fresh. The staff aren't really friendly either, not sure what's up with them, it's like they don't want...

There is a review on here from 6 months ago and I agree completely with it. Not only is the egg not runny, the hash brown is hard and they actually had the cheek to only put one sausage cut in half on a sausage and egg butty, seriously? That is actually a joke no breakfast place I have ever been to have done this hahaha it’s honestly laughable. My boyfriend legit only had to smell it and actually threw it away. We only left 10 minutes ago and I plan on never going back and I actually implore you to not go too. I read the reviews and they all seemed good but they are just complete lies...
