THE KINKI — Restaurant in Great Britain

I was looking forward to this as was recommended by a friend. And at the best part of £40 for 2 burgers, 2 chips and a milkshake I was expecting good things. the food was due to be delivered between 18:25 and 18:30, it then got changed to 18:30 to 18:45. At 18:40 it said food was on its way, but couldn't be tracked as the restaurant was handling delivery. 18:45 came and went, so at 19:00 I opted to use the call restaurant option on just eat. To my surprise the number it dialed (01634 787789) said it wasn't in use. So I then googled them and rang (07869 839691) no answer. I then requested money off my order via the just eat app. The restaurant refused stating it was delayed due to traffic. I live less than 2 miles away, usually a 7min drive. Food arrived at 19:20. And it all cold. I then requested a refund via the app and I recieved 6£ just eat credit. If they had just been up fromt eith me from the start, perhaps they where particularly busy as its a Friday evening, I would if been more understanding. Ordered around 9pm, with delivery time stated as 10pm. Waited until 20 mins after delivery slot ended, and then order was marked as delivered - when it hadn’t even shown up. Contacted the place, and first was told they were having problems with the system “marking orders as delivered”. When we pressed about how long we would now be waiting, the lady said she needed to ask the driver, then we were asked to wait 20/30mins, as they had a huge backlog. Yet JustEat was showing they were still taking orders at the time (why still take orders if you have a huge backlog?). We questioned this, and the call was passed to the manager, who continued to make excuses. A New Favourite in Kent ! After having moved from London we've really struggled to find good places to eat out, tonight we popped into Kinki tonight after seeing it all over social media, and honestly, it did not disappoint. The whole place just has this proper chilled, feel-good vibe , like being round your mates’ place, but with banging food and great music.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, it felt like we'd been going there for years. The burger was next level , juicy, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly. I had a milkshake too, made with fresh fruit and super thick – you can tell they don’t cut corners.

What really stood out was the atmosphere. old-school tunes, a real friendly group of people, and even games to keep the kids happy , it just had that warm, community feel. Nothing felt rushed or forced, just good vibes all round.
