Awesome burger but... Understated shopfront leads to this hidden gem in Medway, North Kent. Enter and you are greeted by a relaxed seating area where you grab your own seat where available. You can't book for normal visits. Download the menu on your phone via a QR code and start choosing. Have to say all the burgers looked awesome and we chose four different ones, loaded fries and wings. You then order at the bar which was straightforward. We found the drink choice small but enough too. Nice selection of local Gins. 👌 Food came out about 15 minutes later which seemed about right. The chips were slightly salted but cold, this was disappointing. The Korean wing's came out which had a great crunch, good bite but be warned the heat sneaks up and turn out to be spicier than I like. Now the burgers, (we ordered a Signiture, Argentina, chilli and standard cheeseburger) we all very much enjoyed these with no complaints, certainly on par with the best burger joints in London. And, might be one of the best in Kent! The dips we ordered (and paid for) did not show and had to be asked for again. Ambiance was relaxed with wall TVs showing football. We spent £105 for four of us. So would I go back? For a good burger yes but loaded fries and wings, no there are better out there.

Without a doubt one of the best burgers I've had in my lifetime, and I love a burger. I had the Argentinian burger with Naga loaded fries, and a Munich lager. To start with the fries, they were the perfect balance of heat and flavour, even without mentioning the burger the fries are worth a return visit! My friend even said half way through the fries she was sad as she couldn't have the first bite again. The burger was something special, to put it into words describing how good it was would be an injustice on how good it actually was. All I can say, is go there and try it for yourself! It's more than worth its cost. They also do a good selection of beers, including fruit beers which are delicious. Also as an added bonus they have a number of TVs with sports playing, so this would be the perfect place to watch lunchtime games.

The service matched the food and vice versa. Superb experience for my friends and I. Drinks wise - Amazing range of ale and cider. Food wise - I had the philly steak burger and my friends went for the Argentinian burger, we shared fries, nuggets, wings and chilli cheese sauce, the flavour was off the scale and presentation on point. Just wow. It worked out roughly £25 per head and we took a doggy bag home because we had loads left. The drinks another £20 ish. We got there at 6pm and the place was alive with people and it had a great atmosphere. A great mix of ages in terms of crowd which is refreshing. I get the feeling that this place is truly independent and those running it have a real passion for their own produce. We will be back!!!

We loved our visit to The Dead Pigeon in Rochester. Staff were friendly and welcoming, food was out of this world. I'm pleased to say these were the best burgers we've ever tasted. For years it was a tiny independent burger place in Banff, Canada but The Dead Pigeon surpassed these! The favour is excellent, both burger and bun melt in your mouth. They have a fantastic selection of flavourings/salts for your chips as well as condiments - I enjoyed the Naga chilli infused ketchup! There's also a fantastic selection of beers and ales to choose from. Plenty to keep you wanting more on your visit. Since our first visit we've been back a few times and we're pleased to hear another restaurant is opening in Rainham at the end of the month.

Sat on a stool at the bar, with football in front and behind on the big screens, but thatbwas fine. I was staying nearby, mainly for work, and found this bar. It stood out (not so much else locally in terms of food). And walking to the bar, everywhere else was very quiet. And then somewhere, with a buzz ... The Dead Pigeon!! The burger was really excellent. Friendly service, good prices. A delivery guy has been waiting a while for a takeaway, and staff, spontaneously, offered him a drink for it taking so long. Nice touch. Nice attitude. If I stay nearby again, I'd come back. Recommended.

First time visiting here, the place was excellent and clean. The staff was lovely and helpful. The food was awesome came out fresh and hot and not stingy on portion size. I knocked one star off for atmosphere due to the the music was that little too loud so you nearly had to talk very loudly to be heard over the music and other patrons apart from that would def visit again and if you have not been you should go. Even if it’s just try the orginal food or there cocktails.
