Food was nice but the staff let it down. I came here with my family for the day as we were on holiday. This cafe has no toilets, no baby changing facilities, so we had to leave 3 times to accommodate this. The first two times we left and came back was because we were changing our baby, the last time was because I, myself needed the toilet. When I came back in, one of the young girls behind the counter saw me, turned her back on me and said to her two colleagues ‘God, she’s been in and out like 3 times already’. The two colleagues knew I had heard this and smiled at me trying to distract me from the comment. If this cafe had baby changing facilities and toilets then we wouldn’t have had to leave and keep coming back! I questioned this young girl and asked her ‘what did you say?’ To which she went all red faced, panicked and said ‘what, nothing’. I questioned her again and said ‘did you just say we keep coming back in?’ Again, she laughed it off and said ‘what, no sorry’. I then went and sat down and one of her colleagues came over to try and lie their way out of it by saying ‘no we were talking about what we were having for lunch’, which I just completely ignored. We spent alot of money in this cafe as we were a family of 9, and the whole service was just rude. Being a mother of a newborn baby you do not need comments like this. I will not be coming back and I hope she sees...
Read moreWe were looking for a place for breakfast on a website that recommends dog friendly places this cafe was listed on there we arrived in the carpark near to the cafe early and went for a walk. There was plenty of other dog walkers appeared to be there doing the same. Waiting for the cafe to open.. soon as the cafe opened we walked there and through the door to be told dogs wasn't allowed inside but we could sit on a table outside followed by a lot of the other dog walkers to be told the same... It was a rough day with the wind and slight rain so we wasn't going to sit out there to have breakfast. My issue is that if you advertise yourself as being dog friendly and especially on a dog friendly Website they should be allowed inside. We could have sat on the beach and had food from there and that could have been the same as sitting on a chair outside in the rain to be seen as dog friendly. The member of staff was polite on entry saying we can't have the dog in here.. but you can if you want it's personal preference.. but clearly not...
