Lucky House — Restaurant in Wales

First stumbled upon this place with a friend who lived nearby in 2012, but since I'm based at the other end of town I didn't order again. Fast forward several years, having rediscovered it and wow I'm so glad I did! Dishes are consistently tasty, somehow the chef(s) cooks the food just the way I like them. Decent sized portions, always piping hot and reasonably priced. Only one occasion they got an item wrong but was no big deal and it was still delicious 😋 Pleasant delivery driver, usually arrives on time or earlier than expected unless very busy. When collecting a couple of times, they had to call me up with a friendly reminder of my order 😆 This is definitely my go to place for Chinese now, as my other favourite place relocated to Bangor and a new Chinese takeaway has replaced it. This is without doubt the best Chinese around. I was concerned however as my order usually lasts 2 days I split my meal as I normally do, but my word it was so dry! When I compared it to one of their previous boxes (I only ever use them) the container was 1cm less in height. So less volume of product. I have included picture. Will I order again as one of most expensive take aways🙄. Not sure, will be looking else where I think due to smaller portions they have introduced. Been to this place on average twice a week and food ok then yesterday got a potion of chips with our order which were mostly scraps, in fact only a third of the pack were chips and the rest scraps. Phoned the lady owner and told her and she did not want to know at all, just said well those are the chips we have and no sorry or offer of replacement and we only live round the corner ! Lady, you have lost our custom after many years, attitude needs to change before they loose...
