McDonald's — Restaurant in Great Yarmouth

Tried the app service for the first time so waited for ages with the deliveroo drivers inside standing on the spot till my order was ready a welcoming experience .... This is the WORST McDonalds meal we have ever had, it could of been the heat in the kitchen making the staff under perform or practices to keep the food cold and fresh but wondering if their freezer and storage food areas were not working correctly by the appearance of the food and the temperatures. So you had on the one side chips that were undercooked, floppy and no salt on them, hence my reason for chips not straight from freezer or problem with temperature in the freezer or the fryer temperature guage not hot enough or inexperienced staff cooking the food? Er - how can you get chips wrong?? Then you had milkshakes and mcflurrys that were not cold enough, the milkshakes were just over sweet milk not a thick consistency and the mint aero ice cream had mint syrup in it not actual mint icecream. I wanted extra gherkins in my quarter pounder but it looked like one had just been pulled from the server and the lid carelessly put back on, my husband also thought his spicy chicken legend was undercooked. No sauces put in with our meal after nearly £20 spent, just as well the customer asked, and only 2 napkins how generous, didn't ask for salt packets as their fries are normally salted well but not today. Car park very small, making it difficult to get out of space, pull in if you wanted drive through so a nightmare of a place to get round, from A to B , I don't think the small car park layout is very safe for CHILDREN entering in and out of the restaurant on foot. On facebook they mention a member of staff who has his foot ran over, I'm not surprised! I think a company safety officer needs to do a risk assessment before a member of staff or public gets badly hurt. We are just all hoping that we don't get food poisoning now. Zero for freshness, zero for quality, zero for atmosphere, zero for surroundings and setting and zero for practicality on carpark design. The reviews on facebook are also shocking so perhaps we can't blame the heat... No golden ring...

Very disappointed with the service asked for a Large Quarter Pounder Meal, Medium Big Mac Meal and a Cheese Burger with two Lattes, checked the order apon leaving the Macdonalds Car park, to realised They whole order was diffrent apart from the Quarter Pounder and the Cheese Burger, the meal didnt have Any fries at all, and they completly forgot my big mac meal and decided to give me a plain 99p cheeseburger and a chicken Mayo, with mediem fries, Also apon checking my receipt to see if they actually put my order through properly my receipt was from somone elses order who had only ordered Milkshakes, I feel like the customer service is poor, Friendly work staff, but believe they are in need of more training and Should double check the order with the receipt and finally double check it with the customer, I didnt not get a refund or my meal sorted out as this was New Years and the Que for food was massive, I could only wish that Gapton Mc donalds had better service and ...

Was going to give 1 star but I'll be nice and give 2 because some reasons aren't all their fault. Firstly the drive thru is always chaos. They made a new lane specifically for McDonalds but it made no difference to the traffic. If you need to wait for food they rarely get you to park in a bay here which doesn't help the ques and when they do get you to park in a bay, well, there is only 2 bays which are awkwardly placed and hard to get out of.

Also, if you go through the drive thru, napkins are non existent and you have to catch them to ask for sauce before they dart off again. My partner actually dropped the sauce one time after being handed it awkwardly, we went back a couple weeks later and the sauce pot was still on the floor below the window not cleaned up.

If you want something made to order, don't bother because it won't be done. And the chips never seem to be fresh here, always either cold, soggy or tasteless.
