This is the first little cafe you come to if walking from the race course end of Yarmouth. The bacon roll was cooked perfectly i asked for bacon well done,& it was, hot chocolate & a cappuccino as well. They do a roaring trade in something called a sausage for the dog, loads of people buying, they cut up large sausages & put them in a bowl, think they were £1.25 each. Edited to add the dog library, they have balls & harnesses, & Frisbees outside on a rack that you can borrow for your dog down on the beach, along the dunes then return, brilliant idea.

As all dog owners in the area know, Munchies is a place we must stop at as dogs refuse to move past it without getting their dog sausage! The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the owner likes to pop to the outside seating to treat the dogs to a biscuit. As a family, we love having a walk along the beach and having a treat at Munchies. Lovely place, great location and perfect for dogs.

Stumbled across this gem of a beach cafe whilst out for a walk with a friend. I was here on holiday & she came to meet me. Such a lovely atmosphere & friendly helpful staff. We had good mugs of tea & a delicious piece of cake. I enjoyed my visit & went back the next day for a cooked breakfast & an exception mug of coffee. My dog was given a treat on both days. Highly recommended.

Hate to be the one to say it but i fear that either the food or drink left me feeling pretty unwell within minutes off consumption.

Having worked in the hospitality industry for the best part of ten years in various capacities including management and supervisory myself i do not like to point the finger squarely at the staff for the experience ive recieved today as all of the young ladies at the venue provided perfect customer service

However i cannot help but question.the quality off training provided with regards to drink prep and i have serious questions regarding the quality off ingredients used for the food.

I was served an overwhelmingly sweet oat milk latte in which the coffee beans themself tasted asif they had been burnt during the making off my drink this in itself can be put down to poor training

However.

The quality off the sausages really leaves alot more to be desired for the asking price they were so cheap end and rich in sodium i havw found myself feeling unwell since...

Today we decided to walk along the seafront. Our little one wanted to use the litter picker to pick up litter. There is a sign next to the litter pickers saying have you done your 2 minute litter picking. We staying with in the railings as there is a huge drop the other side. Our little one sees some rubbish next to munchies. Literally NEXT to the last row of table and chairs. The owner shouts over to us “put the litter picker back” we explained our boy is picking up litter to which the owner shouts back “yeaaaaah”. How extremely rude! First of he could have come over to us and politely asked not shout so everyone looks over at us. A 2 year old boy wanting to pick up other peoples rubbish and this bloke shouts at him. I would understand if our boy was throwing the litter picker around or hitting the floor with it. HE WASNT NOR DID HE ONCE. Terrible customer service! The owner...

Uniquely placed on a island at Waterways. It also has boats for hire.£10 for 45 mins. It has facilities for mobility scooter and wheel chairs with a lift taking you down to the island deck. There is double doors leading into the café and the staff are only too pleased to open them for you. They are helpful and bring your purchase to your table out in the pleasant surrounding of the lake, flowers and rockery are along side the lake. Little paths snake there way through the gardens. Truly relaxing place to be,which is a stark difference to the hub- bub of the other end of Great Yarmouth with its fairgrounds and amusement arcades . So if you want to chill head to " Waterways" and after a hour or so strolling amongst the flowers pop into the café and treat yourself to a coffee and a...
