Mezza Labanese is pure magic waiting to unfold. Step inside and you’re instantly embraced by something special: a space that feels both intimate and alive, buzzing with that rare energy that only comes from a place that truly cares.

The team here doesn’t just serve you; they welcome you like family. There’s a genuineness in their smiles that makes you instantly relax and think, “Yes, this is exactly where I want to be.”

And then the food arrives—oh my word, the food. Each plate is a masterpiece, vibrant and thoughtfully presented, almost too beautiful to disturb. The flavors come in waves: rich, bright, perfectly balanced. The cold starters were silky and creamy, with jewel-like pomegranate seeds that burst with sweet-tart joy—pure poetry on a plate. The portions were generous, ideal for sharing, yet so good that part of you wants to keep every bite for yourself.

I’ve dined my way through Surrey (and beyond), and nothing comes close to what they’re doing here. As a vegetarian, I usually “make do” with options, but here I felt spoiled—dishes so thoughtfully crafted I never once felt like I was missing out.

Dessert was the perfect finale: delicate, ethereal, kissed with orange blossom water. Each spoonful was a sigh of contentment, as beautiful to look at as it was to taste. The traditional Lebanese tea was like a warm hug in a glass, fragrant with mint and soothing to the soul. Around us, guests laughed over shisha, filling the air with a relaxed, social vibe, while soft Arabic melodies transported us straight to the heart of Lebanon.

And perhaps what impressed me most was the way the staff cared without ever intruding. They checked in just enough to make sure everything was perfect, but never once made us feel rushed. We lingered long after dessert with our tea, and it felt like we were guests in someone’s home rather than customers in a restaurant.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Lebanese restaurant! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming—making us feel right at home.

The food was outstanding—everything was full of flavor, beautifully cooked, and clearly made with care. The grilled meats were tender and well-seasoned, the rice was fragrant and perfectly cooked, and the sides like hummus, baba ghanoush, and fresh salads were incredibly tasty. Every dish was a perfect example of authentic Lebanese cuisine.

On top of that, the prices were very reasonable for the generous portions and quality we received. It’s not easy to find a place that balances great food, excellent service, and fair pricing so well.

Me, my parents and my aunties all went today for dinner, the service was amazing and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were indecisive on setting outside in the patio but we found out that there was heating and it warmed us up quickly. No words can describe the food and the flavours of every plate was amazing. As you can see in the pictures the presentation was great. We asked for lamb shawarma, chicken chawarma and the sojok wrap in one plate for sharing and trying all, the fatouch and the vine leaves was amazing and the homous was delicious, we tried Ghazliet Beirut it was the best dessert we ever tried with extra chocolate and pistachio sauce .
