The Electric Theatre — Attraction in Guildford

A small theatre, about a 5 minute walk from the station. The theatre has a small bar (when I visited, they only took card payments) with a few table and chairs dotted around. The ladies' toilets were very clean (always a good sign!). The theatre had quite a few volunteers staffing the auditorium, who were very helpful and informative. My first experience at the electric theatre, we were there to listen to Allie Bailey. Small, intimate theatre with attitude. Everything worked like clockwork. It's location is on the banks of the river in the middle of Guildford. Saw Rossini's Cinderella sung in English by Guildford Opera Company. Great soloists. Excellently produced. Talk by Music Director before was really interesting. Orchestra excellent.
