So excited to visit today as it was my first day off in months.

I ordered an omelette and explicitly said I couldn't have the coleslaw as mayonnaise makes me ill.

It arrived with coleslaw. When I said I couldn't eat it, they offered to take the coleslaw off the plate, leaving me with an omelette that had sat against the coleslaw.

I pointed out this was not something I could eat, so was told it would be a long wait before they could make another.

30 minutes. As it was their mistake I don't think I should have had to go to back of queue. In hindsight I should have just asked for a refund. By the time the food did arrive my oj was drunk, my coffee was cold, and still no apology.

The food was probably good and the salad was fresh, but I had lost my appetite. It's not unreasonable to expect the food you ordered, but I was made to feel I was a problem when different staff questioned 3 times if it mattered.

I stumbled upon Miles Bakery when my cinnamon swirl cravings were at an all-time high due to supermarket shortages, and it turned out to be a sweet serendipity! These swirls are colossal, freshly baked daily, and practically irresistible. I find myself riding into Lutterworth just to indulge in these delightful creations. Once you try them, resisting a second is nearly impossible. What's even better, if you call ahead, they'll graciously set some aside for you as these treats sell out faster than you can say "cinnamon swirls." I can’t express how much I love this place - the food is so fresh and the cakes / treats ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD! Honestly, you must go and try for yourselves Nathan and his family work tirelessly to provide delicious food and bakes.

We also had their ice cream at our wedding - this was so easy to organise Nathan had fantastic communication and was so reassuring- the retro ice cream van was so cool and the ice cream was delicious!

I’m just sad I don’t live closer because I would be in everyday if I could (except a Monday because they don’t open then!)
