Cafe Elite — Restaurant in Harlow

Ordered on a Sunday through justeat at 12:07 and was told the order would be here at 12:55, food was not here by 1:15 so tried to call, however there was no answer. Justeat then said the order was delayed to 1:50, pretty unacceptable.. But the food never came. We called the restaurant 11 times and no one answered or returned our messages. No food, no answer, just a disgrace.

Following from the owner's response... Number 1) please remove my address from your response. It sounds like you were knocking on our back gate as there was no knock on our front door. I specified on the order that the doorbell doesn't work, so surely your delivery person would have walk around the house to try and find a front door. Also, I did not receive a phone call and when I tried to ring 11 times no...

Its nice only been in 2/3 times & they remembered our tastes and I like that a lot.. always seems to be busy for lunch but as only 3 staff it can become a bit chaotic and things go wrong and or forgotten but they still smile and apologise and definitely deserve to be tipped they work hard! Food is nice and big portions..my only bug bear is if you're in a wheelchair or struggling with stairs then the toilet is a bit of a problem to get too -only a couple of steps & theres a rail but can be slippery and toilet or the room itself doesn't look great....so best bet is to go elsewhere...

There is a great choice on the menu at reasonable prices. If you're looking for a quick fix and bite to eat, this is your place.

Open Sundays too 9am to 3pm. Staff are really friendly and happy, with nothing being too much trouble at all.

Toilet is OK, toilet seat is on the wrong position but usable.

Cafe is easy to find and central.

Food is OK and thank goodness the beans don't come in a stupid pot 🙃 if you're a coffee fan then I'd probably avoid the coffee
