Disaster! Do not try to get a take away as you will not get served until you are next on the screen. For 2 scoops of icecream waited 45 minutes and watched 3 tables served before me and my 7 year old son. Should have been no longer than 5 minutes.(add an extra 5minutes if a 3 year old scooping up those icecreams) My son even mentioned that we should have just gone to Mcdonalds and got an icecream from there. The staff needs a major kick in the backside as while watching them they have not used gloves while touching sweets and things while loading them on to plates. (not talking about that sneezing and scraching nose constantly. (lucky that wasnt our food otherwise i would have throw it back at them) The girl at the cashier rather be on a beach or in bed as she was half a sleep already yawning in customers faces at 3pm. Also when a mum asked why they do take away if they dont have seperate person to do indoor orders and take away. The answer she got was "sorry i have to follow the screen and thats it" . I tought that the whole reason to have a take away option, if you dont want or dont have time to sit in the restaurant and wait. Watching these few kids behind the counter doing 3-4orders made me sick and actually not wanting any icecream from that place ever again. (and i am not a picky person) If it wasnt my son with me i would have rather asked for a refund and run from that place. First visit and last as well deffenetly!! I will not recomend this restaurant to any of my friend or family members. If you happy to go there, just spend 20 minutes at the counter and watch them, that will change your mind. The way they handling food, rude and incompetent staff will make you realise that you dont really want ice cream anymore. Messed up the whole Fathers day for me deffenetly. I would leave no stars if that was possible. Avoid this place...
Read moreIf you’re in Harlow and have a sweet tooth, Creams Café at 9 Adams House is a must-visit. My recent experience there was nothing short of delightful.
I indulged in the Bueno Waffle, a heavenly combination of white chocolate hazelnut spread, Kinder Bueno pieces, Creams’ signature Bueno gelato, and white chocolate shavings, all served on a warm, fluffy waffle and topped with a Creams wafer. My wife opted for the Bueno Cookie Dough, which featured warm cookie dough infused with the same luscious toppings. Both desserts were rich, indulgent, and perfectly balanced in sweetness.
The staff at Creams Café Harlow were exceptionally friendly and attentive, enhancing our overall experience. The café’s ambiance is vibrant and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for families, couples, or anyone looking to satisfy their dessert cravings.
Beyond waffles and cookie dough, Creams Café offers a diverse menu that includes sundaes, crepes, gelato, milkshakes, and even savory options. Their sundaes range from the indulgent Hot ‘n’ Cold Chocolate Fudge Volcano to the refreshing Berry Slice, catering to a variety of tastes. For those interested in savory items, the café has recently expanded its menu to include options like Chicken Tikka Panini and Mac & Cheese.

Read moreIce cream was pretty good but that's all.
The staff are a brick short of a full load to be blunt. I mean seriously they look like they can't spell their own names. Had to repeat my order about 2-3 times because the lad instantly kept forgetting the 2 flavours I asked for. After processing my order he said pay over there. To which I was asked by an equally intellectually challenged girl who took my order again whilst swearing at making a mistake while typing my order through on the till. Again had to repeat parts of my order 2-3 times, apparently she didn't know that by 'regular cone' I was asking for a plain cone.
So did the lad just take my order for the fun of it on his till before passing me to the next to do it all over again?
My girlfriend saw the flavor she wanted but was told it was out of stock. Erm no she picked it with her eyes through the glass where we could see half a tub full but we were assured it was out of stock...
After a 10 min wait the lad went off in dazed search for me and my girlfriend covering half the cafe even though we were right in front of him and he had our table number.
As I said the ice cream was nice, the staff seem genuinely mentally challenged, I wouldn't let them near hot...
