A really lovely open spaced park to spend the day. We were lucky enough to come here on a day that the Harlow school of Rock were holding a party in the park and so glad we came. The park has plenty to do and see, the sun was hot and children were enjoying paddling in the stream which runs through the landscape. The pet corner and fields of farm animals to look at make the day out even more exciting, with ponies, lamas, alpacas, pigs, sheep, goats, owls and birds. There is a large reptile house with lots of different species which are kept in exceptionally accurate conditions. Really tidy well looked after animals. The park has a large play area for children at the far end also, so there really isn't room for anyone to get lots for anything to do here. The best thing is its absolutely free! I would highly recommend a day out here.

You forget you’re in the middle of a town here. Cheap and can easily spend a day here with the kids. In the summer the splash pool is open, there are numerous parks for the children to play on whilst walking round, a pleasant cafe, and of course the petting zoo. All free again, and the children are able to look, feed and pet the animals. There is also a pub nearby that serves well priced good food and drink. The park always seems well kept, clean and tidy. Minimal litter and haven’t really come across any sort of antisocial behaviour. Great location, can either walk to the town centre or over to the retail park!

I love the town park. I have been going there all my life. It never gets boring. It has it all. A paddling pool, water gardens, a pub, a cafe, a farm, a park, an accessible playground outdoor fun equipment and a bandstand. Oh and toilets, in case you were wondering. Something there for all the family. The local rock painting group often hide rocks there which provides hours of fun for children and adults alike. In the summer there are often events on at the bandstand. The annual fireworks display happens on the field next to pets corner.

One of the best parks for landscaping and interest with wonderful mature trees. It's very large with several accessible car parks. Hardly any formal flower planting. The best part is the pets corner, like a town farm , with hens , ducks, geese, sheep and lambs, goats, llamas, alpacas, reindeer and pigs. It's free entry but a donation is very welcome. If it's feeding time for the orphaned lambs, children are invited to help. It opens at 11am. There is a cafe in the park, close to pets' corner that serves food, coffee and ice creams.

The Town park in Harlow is more popular than its ever been because of lock down and family's needing an outside space to strech there legs,I have used the park all my life and have extremely fond memories of my parents taking me there all year round, weather in the winter to slide down the hills or the summer to watch the shows on the bandstand a fantastic place that is perfect in everyday,I find peace just sitting on the benches watching the world go by,while surrounded by Beautiful gardens.

Really great walk. nice and peaceful well looked after water gardens. all pushchair friendly. There is also pets corner, where for free you can walk through a small zoo with sheep, goats, raindeer. was perfect for taking my little son out to see a few animals. There are toilets here which are nice and clean. Loads of grass areas too for a chance at a little picnic. really recommend for a day trip with the family. we went on a weekday i expect it gets busier at the weekend.
