A great soft play but needs a lot of tweaks. I would say this soft play is aimed at toddlers, no older than 6/7. I can’t imagine the chaos of having older children running around whilst the younger children play. The layout is wrong and it is simply not big enough for all ages.
There are great features which my 4 year old enjoyed and the design element looks great. I don’t know how they’ll get on with the flooring over time as it is already lifting up in areas and it hasn’t been opened for long.
The entrance to this venue is very open and there is not enough staff to ensure the safety of children or numbers in and out. There is no wristband system so they would not know how long you have been there for. There is not enough space especially when multiple pushchairs start to pile up in the seating area. There is a lot of toys and crisps on display underneath the counters, no price attached and can easily be taken.
There is one woman standing near the entrance and exit doors to the soft play and she seems to be constantly pushing the button for adults and children who want to keep going in and out, it isn’t free access as such. It would make more sense for this to be reversed and have someone monitoring people accessing from the initial entrance and near the till area, not the soft play itself.
I think the idea of this soft play is great and I know it will be very popular but it definitely needs some changes to make it amazing and to make...
Read moreI visited this soft play yesterday with my nearly 2 year old daughter. I do think it’s a good soft play and lots to do, although in my opinion it was way too busy for the size of the soft play, and I felt my child was unsafe and therefore after 15 mins we left. My daughter was in the ball pit area which is for her age group, and yet much bigger children were throwing themselves into the ball pit.. as well as down the slide nearly knocking into the much younger children. I understand it’s the parent’s responsibility to be watching over their children to ensure this does not happen and that they are playing in the area suitable for their age, but it’s also the staff’s responsibility to make sure that adults and children are adhering to the rules. It seems upon yesterday’s visit that all rules that are displayed throughout the soft-play went out the window completely and everyone could just do what they wanted. It was absolute chaos and that is not because it’s school holidays and therefore you expect places like this to be busier.. it’s down to the fact there seemed to be no management and it was a complete free for all.
Unfortunately, I will not be visiting again anytime soon as I think this place needs a lot of improvements before I’m comfortable bringing my...
Read moreA deeply disappointing and unsafe experience – we left after just 10 minutes. We recently visited this soft play centre and were genuinely shocked by the lack of organisation and safety. There was no staff presence at the entrance to monitor numbers, and people were entering and exiting freely with no control whatsoever. For £12.50, I expected a secure, enjoyable environment for my 4-year-old. Instead, we walked into chaos overcrowding, prams blocking every path, and teenagers running through areas clearly meant for small children.
There was absolutely no supervision from staff, no clear rules being enforced, and the whole place felt overcrowded and hazardous. We were so uncomfortable and concerned for our child’s safety that we left just 10 minutes after arriving.
I will be reporting this to the local council, as the current situation poses a genuine risk of injury. Please don’t be misled by polished Instagram posts this venue is nothing like the safe, family-friendly space it pretends to be online. Save your money and protect your child go elsewhere.
Update for management response: You have made no improvements within 24 hours of my review. I would strongly recommend you do a risk assessment, you are risking the safety...
