Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Harlow

Today only the blond young man was very friendly and had an excellent customer service! The other two ladies was very rude and no awareness about customer service! I ordered and asked for normal cream and the black hair lady add the vegan cream! I asked her politely if it is the normal cream because it seems not like normal! She said yes it is normal cream. Then, my husband ordered a coffee and the blond hair young man done the order, he put the correct cream. I asked him having in front of him the two coffees about the cream and accepted the one is vegan. He apologised and changed my coffee. Myself, my partner & our daughter visited the Staple Tye Costa this afternoon. We gave our orders to the male Barista serving- very clearly & politely. We waited for our drinks to be made. When our drinks were ready, my partner noticed that his drink was not what he ordered. He politely informed the Barista (who had taken our order & made the drinks) that his drink was not what he requested. The Barista's response was rude & uneccessary, he repeated a few times that he understood my partner's order to be another drink. My partner amiably reiterated that his drink was not what he had requested. We both found this member of staff's manner rude, defensive & challenging .I have never had cause to complain about the service & manner of any Costa employee before but feel it necessary on this occasion to...

Met friend for coffee and chat. We both had Latte, chocolate cookie and toasted teacake. Comfortable chairs and clean table next to the window. Ordered at counter, it was very busy and had to wait a bit for order, then had to carry to table, which was a bit hazardous as we are both getting a bit old in the tooth and a bit wobbly. Would have been nice to have it served to our table. Latte was nice, but my teacake had been put into toaster, so was toasted both inside and out, but still tasted nice. The cafe was extremely noisy, so much it was hard to carry out a conversation. The noise was added to by the staff shouting out the orders. Overall, quite a nice experience, but not a place I would chose to visit for a meet up...
