I have never had such stale chips in my life. I have made the mistake of going back there after being given stale chips twice before, but had forgotten. This time I asked to taste one, so I was given a nice fresh tasty chip, so ordered a portion. He didn't ask if l wanted them wrapped, always a bad sign, but I didn't imagine I would be given stale chips as I had just tasted a fresh one in the shop. Suffice to say when I returned home & unwrapped them, they were stale. I fed them to the seagulls. I would never go back there or recommend this fish & chip...

Best fish and chips we've had in years. Top quality all round, the fish was beautifully battered and cooked to perfection with very little oily residue which is typical in most chip shops. The chips were lovely and crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, new potatoesI think which make better quality chips. As for the mushy peas, they were the best I can remember having, often given little attention and served as slop, these had lots of flavour, a good texture and colour too. We hope to be back...

My partner and i had a lovely time staying in St Leonard’s for the Easter weekend. We had the most amazing fish and chip from Blue Fish chip shop in the high street. My partner and i both thought and said it was the best we have had in a long long time. It’s very clean also have wonderful and polite staff who work there or even owns the chip shop.
