My family and our dog went to sit outside for a drink but these two little dogs (I assume pub dogs) came and stood at the door constantly barking at us. We asked if it was ok for us to sit there and no one was really wanting to reply to me which was very uncomfortable. After a while the land lady came out asking what the problem was (with the dogs still constantly barking at us by her feet) and I said is it ok for us to be here which she replied "it's fine the dogs wont come out the door" and I asked if they would stop barking at us if we did sit down - I wasnt really ready for her reply of "if you dont like it you can just carry on". Which we did. No one inside was distancing anyways and were all stood at the bar which isnt within the guidelines. Very rude and obviously didnt want any new faces in there and 100% not dog friendly unless you want two other dogs constantly...

It's a pity because surrounding area is nice. Perhaps if a new landlord/lady was in place & bring it into the 21st century. Music was very loud at 3:00pm with the local riff-raff screaming the lyrics out of tune. Nostalgia is a wonderful thing but not when it only reminds you of those awful smelly dive's of a bygone era. Would recommend to avoid...
