Graze on Grand is not for anyone in a hurry - but if you like treasure hunts, this wine bar plus is for you. Here is a simple palette of off-white greys, steel and wood, all with a hint of ambient music. A short chalked menu with a long eclectic wine list - just peruse the shelves and you are bound to find a friend. And if it turns into a deeper relationship you can buy them by the case and, from a display case, the art of glass - Riedel glasses, maybe one or two to take with you? There are little adventures to be had everywhere - delicious Julius Meinl Viennese ground coffee, beans, and cups are just a few of the temptations stacked in a corner full of deli delights. Even in the gorgeous charcuterie sharing platter, unopened flower buds are hiding - in the shape of Lilliput capers, as well as cornichons, caperberries and slices of radish. Read moreThe service was appalling. We waited for a long time to get our drinks order and when the owner came round to take our order, she was sarcastic and defensive rather than apologetic. We had to fight to get any attention or even the bill at the end. The staff were more attentive to another customer’s dog than to us, paying customers. We didn’t even get asked about dessert or whether we had enjoyed the food. The staff seemed to completely ignore other customers if they weren’t personal friends of theirs. Even though the food is good and the atmosphere is ok, we had a really tense and unpleasant experience - I would not recommend to anyone until this place learns basics about...
