McDonald's — Restaurant in Havant

Had to rate it directly in the middle here because it's a McDonald's and you know what to expect.

There's always something you enjoy from McDonald's. Shocker but this McDonald's tends to have a working ice cream machine so you rarely see it unavailable unless it's out of stock or turned off for the day. Food is always amazing and never an issue and I also like to go here when the Pokémon cards are in those happy meals as I like to collect them and they re a unique set.

Service wise is right in the middle as well, gone down over the years because of self service but they are always hard working in the Havant location and are always polite. The slight annoyance I have with service is the cleaners. They don't properly wipe down tables and seats leaving tables to be sometimes tacky or with crumbs over it but only a slight annoyance.

As for atmosphere, I remember when they upgraded the restaurant years ago to be the design it is now and compared to it's old design, the atmosphere is amazing. Sad to remember when the old ball put and playground went in the back. Not too quiet but not typically loud either than the rare child screaming or crying. It's chill to go into, even on your own and doesn't feel weird going here by your self as there are 1 person tables and areas for people to sit at over taking a table typically meant for 4 people.

Overall, these days it's not really an eat in place anymore due to how society has changed over the years but is still completely fine. Mcdonalds in Havant is a good competitor for the other major fast food chains surrounding it and is always a fallback fast food restaurant or backup pick always being there when...

I ordered through a delivery service and received an order that had been specifically requested without cheese due to allergies, with the cheese very much in tact. The sticker was applied with the requests very much visible and one of the two instructions was actually followed. I’m unsure which makes it more useless? The issue did not lie with the delivery service- they absolutely done their job unlike this restaurant. I contacted the restaurant and apparently spoke to the manager who wasn’t comfortable disclosing their name. They advised me they cannot offer a refund or a code to re redeem, and when I asked for an email address to contact their complaints team, she stated that the complaints procedure was to call on the phone line that I was using 🙃🙃 Absolutely useless and terrible terrible service. Really really basic instruction and so many issues for a bloody £2.70 burger!! Sadly items are missing almost every time I order and I ALWAYS let it slide, or the order is not quite what you ask for and it seems by using delivery services they can just freely pass the buck. Absolutely shocked at the service. Ordered at the kiosk. No printer receipt with order number on and no display to tell you what your order number is. Then waited by the cashiers desk to find out my number. After 10 minutes the girl turned around and said that she is not allowed to take orders and to go to the kiosk. I explained what my order was and could she find the number of me. She returned promptly and gave me my number. My order was placed at 10.12 am. My number was called at 10.37. I collected my tray and sat down. I then had to go back to the counter and ask for sugar and a stirrer. Sat back down. Opened up the pancakes and found no utensils. So back to the counter again. Waited a few minutes and was then acknowledged. I asked for utensils and was given them. Sat back down. By this time food now cold and coffee was also cold as it was made 30 minutes ago. Not busy with customers. But loads of home delivery orders on the screen. Will I come here again?...
