I went here with my long-distance boyfriend the first day we got to see each other. It's inside the Meridian Centre, it's really lovely inside and it has a nice place outside of it too (which is still within the mall). The cocoa was really cute, I loved the marshmallows and whipped cream on top but it was a bit too sweet for my taste... My boyfriend liked the Americano though (Edit: He in fact did not like the Americano, it was really bad) I don't remember how much it may have cost, possibly like ~£7-£9 (the drinks are between £3-£4 each) I haven't really had any of the food, other than what I got on the last day since we wanted to hang out inside the cafe and we were pretty full and already had coffee... A very small, packaged brownie... For £3.25. When I asked for the price and I heard that, it felt a bit like a whiplash. That was an exception, I'm never paying anything more than £1 for a brownie that small AND packaged again!! Lol It does have a lot of lunch and breakfast options that I noticed, but I'm not aware of the quality or taste. I just know it's all pretty pricey from what I've seen.

Stopped here for a chat and a drink after a chance encounter with my folks. Service was fast and friendly. Food reasonably priced and came to the table nice and hot. Premises were clean and inviting,

Nice cafe with seating inside and out, which does get chilly, as the heating in the centre never seems to be on, i usually have to keep my coat on whilst my coffee gets even colder than it already is, but that's not the cafe's fault i suppose?

I used to visit this place so regular, as the food was always lovingly presented and the staff warm and friendly, the beverages were well made and piping hot, until in recent times where i have i found the quality of the food and hot drinks well below standard, plus the prices have risen dramatically, the staff seem abrupt/ miserable, i can't decide which, making me feel fed up.

Has Management changed, i don't know, but for the time being, i must avoid this cafe for my own...

Not very friendly.Flat Coke and 1 bottle of water would of been £5 As it was flat We just said we didnt want the drinks £16 seemed far to high for 2 egg baggets. No side salad given as garnish only when requested. Then staff reluctently took it away and returned it.When my sister said how the Portsmoth Boswells were a much better service the staff went off with attitude. The boss lady came over by then the vist was a wish we never stopped here £10.00 for two egg and mayonaise baggett rolls . The rolls were ok but felt over priced with attitude thrown in front of us .A not so nice Boswells...
